I got the game from a youtube giveaway and the game is very good i really like it. Wen i first started playing the google chrome version it was really good and i love how you can eat and hunt, I hope that they will add multiplayer or some kind of coop in this game.

After putting in nearly 50 hours in 3 days, early on in the beta, I will not let myself play until release!! Can't wait to see all the updates and changes, but I do fear that they've moved a little away from the stuff i liked, which was the desperation style living off the land, into more silly stuff, like complex machines, overly settled farming, and the need to counter all that with disruptive elements. Oh well, it will still be cool to see what they've done with it. (last time I played, they implemented the dogs & bee..gun(?) like the next day)

I bought a copy of Don't Starve for myself and my gf its a great game and I really enjoy it and I recently tried to opt into the story mode beta however it didn't seem to work so I'm waiting for the official release because I'd really like to see the whole story of this game.

Don't Starve is one of the best games I've played in a very long time!
It's currently my most played game on Steam with 98 hours recorded (I have around 30 hours played while Steam was in offline mode, which doesn't record play time for some reason)
The base game itself is incredible, I'm currently playing with some player made mods that add a lot more fun into the game and I'm loving it!

I love it! I've never survived through the winter though :/ I't addictive in the same way old school roguelikes are and it's rewarding to figure out different stuff you can do (like razor blade + buffalos) and survive from a "dead end situation"

So I first discovered Don't Starve back in November after sifting through all the indies games during the Autumn Steam Sale and bought it fairly soon after.
I joined their forums and was greeted with a warm welcome from the developers and forum members. Even though the game was only in what I would consider early Beta, Don't Starve was insanely addicting already! Since I first started playing, this game has received a plethora of updates as well as an overwhelming fanbase. If you haven't tried this phenomenon, you really should.
So have you bought or received this game yet? Have you tried it and what do you think about it? Leave a comment below with your thoughts! Share the love! Don't forget to visit their forums if you're really into the game ^__^
Cheers!
