Rysix, I found a lot in step 3. dont want to say too much here, but by saying that i found the 2 hidden freebies in the code, you should know that i found several hints. and still i cant quite get it done. am i even close? ^^

I hate being sick! I haven't had much of a chance to work on this and now time is ticking down. Darn flu. I found something interesting in the codes for phase 3, Rysix, (<3 with the hints) immediately after I just looked at the puzzle again, but I can't figure out how to use the other thing I believe is a hint. I started with the keys/codes in a simple list (reading from top to bottom, like in Step 2). I thought they might have to be re-ordered, to spell out Rysix, or cake (or both).

12345 12345 But there's no column that has Rysix/cake in it complete. Then I thought it might bounce from side to side (RYSI appear in the first and 4th columns every three keys, but X is in the 3rd instead of the first!). Then I thought maybe it went diagonal. No. Then maybe a circle? No. After that point, my attempts got progressively sillier.
There is an ordering that has both Rysix and cake at the beginning (if you sort of intertwine them), but that leaves the majority of lines unused. Plus there are multiple options for the x/e line. So that's not obviously the solution.
I'm assuming that my original premise, that the keys need to be reordered to spell something out, was wrong.
Very much looking forward to seeing the solution, haha.

RYSIX can be spelled using letters from first lines of each of the 5 blocks of code. CAKE can be spelled using neighboring letters starting with block 2.
As Rysix showed me, keywords would be more obvious if you shifted the codes and reordered them into blocks of 5. For example, here's the RYSIX set of codes:

Hints
Step 1 - ItsTooHard Puzzle
All unit definitions are available on wikipedia.
The line used is based on an old English definition, not the current military one.
A year is only 365 days long for the purposes of this puzzle.
Pence is the plural form of penny; they're the same thing.
Step 2 - First Set of Giveaways
There are 15 sets of codes.
Order as always is important.
You need all 15 pieces to crack the code.
No bruteforcing required.
Courier is an awesome font.
