Tier 1, here I come! Leave some Steam keys for me, erryone!
Time to gulp down a big sip of Deep Silver and buy the BTA!
Yes, I would like fries with that! Tier 3!
I'm clinically insane, Tier 4!
Perhaps I might chip in, Saints Row is such a nice series.
More like the Humble Repetition Bundle :\
No Humble, No Cry. Tier 0.

Got Tier 1 but I think that I will stock up to the BTA next week.

Oh, and what you wrote is not exactely correct. Saints Row 2 CAN be redeemed in germany.
I'm from germany and I got a key, so I'm pretty sure that I can redeem it. But I guess that it will be the censored version, if you purchase it from inside germany. I already have it in my account, so I can't say it for sure. But since I have marked my copy as uncut I'm pretty sure that I have activated a ROW or NA key. If I remember right, I've asked a friend to buy the bundle for me when Saints Row 2 was in it the last time on Humble Bundle. But I'm not sure if it's the same kind of key they are using now...

You'll have to buy the BTA as a separate purchase next week since you can't upgrade this bundle.

seriously? o_O
And I waited for the lowest BTA to upgrade it.... Man, WHYYYY?

Thanks for the info, though! Appreciate it.

EDIT:
Can anyone tell me where I can see if I can upgrade the bundle, BEFORE I have bought it? o_O
Just asking to prevent that this will happen to me again...

EDIT 2:
Nevermind, I found it. Thanks anyways

The warning message was not originally there when the bundle first went live. Wouldn't be the first time that Humble has goofed with alerts like that. You may be able to request a refund.

Oh, you are right! I noticed that I still have a browser window open with the BTA at $ 3.95 and the message is not showing up.
Thanks, man!

That doesn't mean that you will be able to boost it later though.

yeah, I know :)
But as you already said, I might be able to get a refund, now.

But to be honest, I don't think that it's worth the effort, just because of $1.00.
I think there are better solutions like giving some of the games away or trade them for other games I want.

At least I was able to purchase the BTA for $3.95 again thanks to my 2nd browser I opened when Humble Bundle had problems with their server :) Now that I think about it, maybe this was the reason that the site was not loading correctly, when they have changed it...

Anyone have same problem ?

Everyone has it, but it's not a 'problem' as it might appear in the first place; Humble removed the upgrade feature for this bundle. Check the OP :)

Standard edition in the $15 tier, sigh

Edit: Oh well, I wanted Homefront and Deadlight anyway. I don't understand why I can't seem to remember when Humble are releasing their bundles. I just stroll in and find a crapload of decent game bundles are given away and even then it takes me a while to figure it out. I need to set an alarm or something lol

Warning: You will not receive the pre-order of Agents of Mayhem! Add just $70.76 more to unlock!

Yeah ok, but I think I'm good...

For 1 and 2, pick Poland, Germany or Turkey.

For 3, exclude Germany.

Permalink

For 1 & 2 just choose your own region when creating the giveaway.
For 3, the only way is to state that in the giveaway's description.

This bundle is pretty f*cked up compared to it's previous releases:

  • rebundles;
  • Saints Row IV's DLC in a lower tier than the base game (it's standalone, but c'mon, sense)
  • a $75 tier (now that's savage)

    - no Metro

edit: and lot's of region locks!

Don't forget that there was the usual option to upgrade your bundle later to a higher amount at first and then Humble Bundle changed things after the fact, screwing people over.

I don't understand this one. What Saints Row IV DLC? The GOTC edition is self-contained.

it was meant to be a DLC for Saints Row IV, and even being standalone, there are some chronologic ties to SR IV to be considered

I wouldn't have bought the BTA without the SR4 standalone DLC. Many people owned SR4 but not this DLC.

They are also generally better. I feel like they were getting less interesting as they went ahead with the series. Purely subjective on my part though

what a let-down bundle. Damn are Deep Silver a bunch of greedy cunts, there a countless games they could have bundle but instead they got to rack your Remaster Definitive Redux GOTY Edition money...

And unfortunately we know those "more games" are going to be cheap rebundles too (Metro Redux obviously since they got to promote the new Metro coming out).

^^ This should have been available at launch though. Not hours later.

I wonder why they made the random AU lock for Homefront. They did the same for Risen 3, but they are not using it for this bundle, and instead are opting for the NA+RoW one.

Deep Silver is just weird.

Edit: Should note that when DS says RoW, they actually mean RoW - EU. If there is an EU locked key for a given game, you will not be able to use the "RoW" one.

Should note that when DS says RoW, they actually mean RoW - EU. If there is an EU locked key for a given game, you will not be able to use the "RoW" one.

It does mention that that in the support article if you read carefully:

ROW: Rest of the World minus countries targeted by region specific keys shown above

Which means for everything other than the other aforementioned regions. Although yes, that is not typically everyone's idea/definition of where a ROW key is valid.

The other thing that doesn't make sense to me is why they didn't make the Saints Row 3 Full Package in Tier 3 an upgrade DLC. I suspect that is why you can't later increase the payment for this bundle?

But ROW is not ROW minus the other restricted ones, ROW is ROW minus Europe.

So uh.. I was able to activate an EU Deadlight key and I'm in the US. I don't understand how that works. My country isn't listed under the region restrictions so shouldn't I not have been able to activate it? Also, I can launch/run the game fine

those "Brazil" keys really broke my mood..whats wrong with LATAM keys?

Comment has been collapsed.

Well... Humble Mess Bundle as usual.

- No option to increase payment (it was there, now it isn't... someone was pissed off because the BTA dropped from $6 to $4 in a matter of minutes?)
- Region locked items and region locks explained as clearly (irony) as always
+ At least it's not a one steam key per tier bundle (ha-ha)

As usual, I'll use that handy "Choose where your money goes" sliders and set $0 for the developers/publishers, $0 for Humble Bundle and 100% for charity. If I'm going to buy something in these fucked-up bundles, I'd rather that all the money goes to charity.

My theory is that it is because of Saints Row 3 Full Package in Tier 3 being the complete game and not an upgrade DLC (this way they aren't giving an extra copy of base SR3).

I agree the way it has been handled has been very messy though.

Oh, so if you buy tier 3 ($15) you only get "The Full Package" and no spare SR3 base game key on tier 2? Lame...

Nevermind, just confirmed from SR3 The Full Package info:

Note: You will not receive an additional copy of the base game from the beat-the-average tier!

Well, as compared to the August Monthly, at least they released an official list with region locks. It's still weird though that some people from Germany seem to be able to activate the games, while others can't... With Humble it's never 100% clear what they give out to their buyers :D

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That is the worst part about all of this...half of the time the sellers(like HB) themselves have no idea where the keys are locked and probably even get wrong informations from the publishers...

Saints Row 2 is, in my opinion, the best of the series, and I liked the original Homefront campaign, and Risen 3 is underrated (not by much, but hey), so I think the first tier is probably the best... although I own almost all of it already, so a pass from me.
