Copy pasting my answer from the last 2 friends in the last 2 days on steamgifts because I haven't found any new music since then.

i'll give you a few recommendations of my favourite songs atm. There is a wide variety in them-
Handsome Ghost - Steps (Samuraii Remix) : A very chill song. Very calming and I love it!
Against the current - Gravity : Great rock song. A very underated band in my opinion. The singer is absolutely incredible.
PhaseOne - Six Feet Under : An awesome dubstep song. Reminds me of a mix of dubstep and rock and it goes together well!
Walk the moon - Shut up and dance : My favourite pop song atm. Such catchy lyrics.

Well hope you find something you like on there. I literally listen to just about every genre of music so I have a very wide variety of music :P

Ever listened to Skid Row? It's a great band. I can really recommend songs like youth gone wild and 18 and life (both from the album skid row, which is entirely worth checking out). They have an awesome sound. It sounds a bit like the oldschool metal combined with the glam metal genre. Not really heavy (at least not when you are used to death metal \m/) and I think if you like the old rock styles, you might like them as well.

Whitesnake is also worth checking out. I could recommend songs like Here I go Again and Forevermore.

As I am a metalhead, I can't really show you stuff outside the metal (except the classic rock and hard rock legends, but you probably know them already).
