Favourite character is Arwen because the actress who played Arwen in the movies is Liv Tyler, and I like Liv Tyler, enough said.

Gandalf is definitely the better, he not shared the xp with her friends.. ahaha!

Aragorn, he's an hero. When I read the books I just wanted to be like him, he fights with honour and he's a good guy. Even tho I know that the central character of LoTR is Sam, he's just spiritually stronger than anyone else: a candid, sincere character, who cannot be compromised by evil.

For some reason, I always found Gandalf to be easier to relate to than a lot of the other characters. I "got" him more easily than the elves, hobbits, or even the humans.

My favorite is that forest wizard, I don't remember his name but it's the one covered in bird poo :p

edit: Radagast the Brown is his name.

Faramir because he resisted the ring and has bow + sword skills, he's like human legolas but more.
(I already have Lego Lotr so don't pick me even though Faramir is the best answer obviously)

Legolas because he kills mumakils with grace.

Samwise... the true hero. The one who kick Shelob´s giant arachnid ass and save Frodo when orcs imprisoned him, carries and use the ring and had the strength to hand it back to the ring-bearer when the task was done; even the orcs say that he must be a powerful elf warrior (they never saw him).
