Megan Rapinoe is one of the best female players in the world currently, our strongest midfielder and the only person male or female in history to score what is known as an Olympic Goal or Goal Olimpico. A direct score, unassisted, off a corner kick. She put enough bend on the ball to put it in the net. One of the most memorable goals I've seen!

Agreed, a win is a win but that was about as pretty as a last call pick up.
Altidore needs to get into game shape fast, Yedlin needs to remember this is for qualifying and start trying to put a foot on things. The defense...sigh...I am just glad that we aren't against a caliber of teams better than CONCACAF right now. Either way, I cannot wait for Monday to see them close out Group A play!

So, the women's world cup is coming up and I may have some money riding on it..which if it pays off I'll be sharing with you guys here :D
If there's another game that I should consider and it isn't listed, please post below and comment below it if you want to vote for it. I will keep this up until I take off next Thursday night for the US game against Sweden.
Now, I have to go get my ribs and pork shoulder on the smoker so have a gif of Alex Morgan, when I get back I'll put a GA here for the efforts of everyone.

EDIT 2 - I just had to share this picture because this pork shoulder is coming along so amazing. Smoking it with apple wood from a tree planted when I was born. The ribs are 3 racks of spareribs, 2 racks of baby backs and an andouille sausage. Smoked with a mixture of Hickory, Oak and Cherry wood. Not quite as delicious as Alex Morgan but still looks tasty.

Just wanted to say congrats to the USWNT, that was an amazing game and Carli Lloyd was hands down the Golden Ball winner this year. To the beloved #20 Abby Wambach it is so nice to see you finish your USWNT career with a world cup medal. You are leaving this team in very capable hands and I think the world needs to get ready for our 4th star. We wanted 3, you girls gave us 3. What a game, what a tournament, what an experience seeing the game against Sweden. I'm dead tired from work but I just wanted to reopen this and edit it saying congratulations, I will bump the thread when I make the GA for all of you who are waiting for The Witcher 3, except for a certain friend because he's too poor to afford a real computer that can run it. Also, England 1 Germany 0 - Congrats Brits on third, at least you got a medal unlike Germany :D.
Up Next - USMNT vs Honduras on Tuesday for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. I will be in Kansas City a week from Monday as we take on Panama and Haiti plays Honduras.
