Nothing to changed, before this option included, some people could not making any giveaway because their gifts were limited by Steam (update: and old rules of the Steamgifts). All others make it same as be before.

Some days, there just aren't many good giveaways. It happened before and it will happen again. Nothing to do with the region lock update.

Don't get it...In fact you should even get more gift aways now. You will get the global ones and the ones from Poland. So instead of getting less gift aways you are getting more then another person who only gets to see the global ones...

I just say that for some regions (poor ones) where normal giveways numer might to be lower. You may want to give all stuff anybody you want it is your choice.

If you live in Poland, please check your SG profile to make sure the region there is set to Poland, as well. If there is a different country listed, please create a support ticket to request the change.

Is the OP pissed because they can not use all the points and most what they want is region restricted GA?
Either way i still do not see how adding them is hurting the OP.
I rarely use all my points i enter for games i really like and want not just to enter because i have points and a game fetish

I think he was ranting about something other, that now with the region restriction option, people giveaway even ROW games only for their region, I think he meant that. But still don't see the problem here...

I suppose that OP is saying that now people creates more giveaways for their region rather than ROW. For example, if you from Russia or Brazil it's cheaper for you bying games there, not ROW. It means that we have less giveaways for ROW games in total.

yeah, but the problem exists thou. I've already seen several people making Region Restricted GAs with ROW keys just to limit the number of entrants this way.

I'm actually okay with that if that's what someone wants to do with their gift, but then it makes it unfair then that not everyone has the option to do this themselves (i.e. with their own region or even another region of their choice). It needs to be equal across the board, therefore add regions for everyone, not just the ones that are there now.

After including this stupid thing there is more then 60% giveaway gone for me. Now 150 points and thats it - no more interesting/any givaways for me (erlier 300 points was way to small number to enter all gifts) - that sux
