What things make YOU feel old? I think that one of the things that makes me feel old is the fact that World Of Goo is 5 years old. Wow.

Kickstarting Elite: Dangerous because I used to watch my father playing the original Elite, 24 years ago.

Stop the tears, he's still alive and has no idea of this sequel. I'm going to gift him a copy for his birthday, next month. :D

I played the hell out of that game in the 80's on my C*64 and again with Frontier: Elite II years later for the PC. I'm pretty psyched for a sequel.

Well, I was about 10 when pong came out in the 70's. So u can do the math. It has been fun to watch games change for the better over the years.

That my N64 doesn't run stable anymore. Won't even run for 10 seconds before it "resets"

Realising that Sands of Time came out exactly 10 years ago. It feels like yesterday that I drooled over all those beautiful screenshots on various internet sites that I could only access from school and the dorms, and wishing that I had a PC that could run the fucker.

Or the fact that Silent Hill: Origins was announced 6 years ago. I was so hyped for it, having been a fan of the first 4 games, and even to this day I still couldn't get my hands on a platform that could play it, since my PS2 is PAL only and the game was released in Japan and NTSC countries.

Most of all it's probably Half Life 2. Anyone remember having to wait for that Hydra monster only to turn out it's been cut from the final release? Yeah, it kinda pissed me off. All the anticipation... Thankfully it came out when I had a low-end PC to play it on, even though it was glitchy and ugly on it. Fun fact: I finished the endgame without the powered up gravity gun because of a glitch >.<

I still remember the day (and preceeding articles) that talked about the day Dennis "Thresh" Fong won John Carmack's Ferrari back in 1997, while playing Quake I. He was also the very first pro gamer (Something i wasn't aware of).

Also, i still remember the TERROR i felt whenever i played Price of Persia, or the look i gave to my brother whenever he played Asteroids, or trying to beat Contra/Ice Climbers/Battletoads in a single day (any of the three), or hacking the NES gun accidentally to make it get the shot everytime i pull the trigger.
