So, I am curious on where most of the GA games come from. I can't imagine people are running around spending real life money on completely garbage games to give out on this website - and I find it hard to believe that the majority of people are spending $60 on a new AAA titles to give them away to strangers (in a public GA).

I have been purchasing all of my GA games so far but I am new and don't know all the tricks of the trade just yet. I would love to find out how others are doing it - especially if you are giving away non bundled games in private groups.

Where do you get your GA games from?

View Results
Steam (Summer/Winter/Etc) Sales
Other website sales
I trade CS:GO keys (or other games) for them
Humble Bundle Extras
I re-gift games I receive from friends
I buy them straight out (and get cash back on my credit card)
I get extra keys in exchange for an 'honest' review

Hm, the majority of my giveaways are probably keys I got on Tremor Games. The rest are gifts I bought on Steam mainly during sales.

For unbundled games, Nuuvem. It's the only place I can get ROW keys in Brazil to giveaway for my wishlist/international groups since my steam gifts are regionlocked. Bundled games are mostly leftovers I already have/don't want to play.

Bundle games. Lots and lots and lots of bundle games. Including a lot of HOGs. Because HOGs are lovely and wonderful.

Tremorgames and Steam. Basically, bundled shit is from Tremorgames and the non-bundled (or "expensive" games) are directly bought from Steam. I also gave away a few games in the past which I acquired through a pretty awesome Steam group I'm part of but which I feel guilty for not participating more in.

So far, mostly bundle games that I'm not interested in. My steam library is large enough that if I'm not going to play a game, I see no need to clutter it up, though I used to farm trading cards for money for more games. I did one or two Tremorgames games as well. More recently I've found some good sites for making a few dollars a day that I can put on paypal or amazon and buy games with that way. As for where I get them, HB, Indiegala, and Steam sales.
