I don't get people like this. They get so butt-hurt and focus so much attention.... I guess they just don't have a life at all huh?

If I understand it correctly, creator of the page likes the series. It's just a meme.

Would be awesome, love the Persona games, haven't tried (other) Shin Megami Tensei games, however, but would love to play them on Steam. (I have P4 on PS3/4 and have played P5 on PS4, but none of the others).

Would love to see some of the older titles re-mastered for PC (the first couple Persona titles, Digital Devil Saga, etc.). But instead I'm expecting the announcement of Catherine: Full Body Edition on PC. :(

Hopeful it's not another monkey paw.
ATLUS games on Steam but the base one just like Catherine (P3/4 instead of P3 FES / P4 Golden)
Would be nice if they'd bring their nds games (SMT, Etrian) over

Seems that Atlus is pretty slowly learning that their parent Sega is a experiencing great success on the PC. I never understood why Sega didn't force them to do better asap.

It's Sega, they're kinda known for not being aware of what other parts of the company are doing. I personally believe that they legitimately forgot just how many IPs they've accrued along the way and that's why they rarely dig up certain games when making their frequently published collections.
Also they're kinda mental, did you see the new Game Gear Micro? They expect people to buy 4 of the damn things to get the whole pack of games, and it's just 16 games total. It's like they managed to avoid fucking up with the Genesis mini so they're compensating now with the next retro console.

Persona 5, even vanilla one, would've been awesome as hell.
But don't forget there are things like 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Catherine Full Body.

Catherine and a few other Atlus-ish published games like Rock of Ages and Citizens of Earth are already on Steam.

Publishing for all of these is now done by Sega.

Well, it's developed by Atlus, so it'd have their labeling on it regardless of who was publishing it. Apparently (going off a quick google search) SEGA handled the Windows ports of the various Atlus games, which is why they ended up being the publisher for their PC versions. Given that, it does seem likely that all future Steam ports will be SEGA-published as well. [That said, Atlus is a wholly owned subsidary of SEGA, so the nuance of who the listed publisher is between the two is probably not overly significant.]

Catherine and a few other Atlus-ish published games like Rock of Ages and Citizens of Earth are already on Steam.

In any case, I'd argue your phrasing is correct (or, if not so, then at the very least not incorrect), however, given that we can assume an interpretation of that comment where the chronology'd put Atlus publishing as a state existing prior to any Steam porting (which would then make the reference accurate). Or, to put that another way, you're primarily referencing Atlus-published games within the context of future ports, which means they'd still be Atlus-published presently [well, setting aside the fact that SEGA apparently already handles regional publishing for some Atlus games].

SMT / Persona is my favorite franchise and all that, but there's also a bunch of good stuff that Atlus can offer: Trauma Center / Trauma Team, Baroque, Steal Princess, Etrian Odyssey, Odin Sphere, Growlanser, etc. Just the coming of a creator page already brings good expectations. :D

I've been waiting for years now to get one of these games on PC. Alas, no such luck yet.

I'll say that at this point this decision is getting more questionable from a business standpoint because there are so many successful JRPGs on PC now and a series like SMT would sell really well for sure. They ported Catherine but not Persona? That is weird.

While I'm happy for this something feels odd.

I mean, they already have the HD assets from Persona dancing why bother with a port rerelease again?

bet they will bait us again and announce a month later P4 remastered on consoles

I think it's actually Sega Europe the one that pushes for PC ports, I don't think Atlus pays much attention to Steam or the PC market in general.

That does appear to be the case, based off the articles I pulled up. This GameInformer article especially seems to imply that SEGA Europe is forcing the matter, in opposition to Atlus's desires:

It's definitely a strange sequence of events and speaks to how fragmented Sega's structure is. While Sega Europe seems to have spearheaded this port, releasing it weeks before an enhanced version hits other platforms has lead fans to contemplate whether they'd just rather wait. Despite being a wholly owned subsidiary of Sega, Atlus has never seemed on board with the company's PC initiatives, and thus likely didn't play ball with the idea of releasing Catherine: Full Body on PC. That said, Sega Europe did say to expect more Atlus games on PC in the future, so hopefully the timing works out better on those.

Sega sometimes seems to be like a hydra whose heads each have their own agenda and don't talk to each other unless absolutely necessary.
