Can you run it?
Yup. I see absolutely NOTHING that justifies that requirements, thats why I think they're inflating it.

550 Ti....welp looks like I'm gonna be watching people play and not play. Everyone else, have fun!

i mean.. not to sound elitist or anything like that, but the GTX550Ti is a 5 year old card, xd was out before even Skyrim was out..
that said i still think these requirements are inflated a bit, and even the ones at minimum should be able to run the game very well, at least i hope so, as a 7870 owner xd, i can run W3 and GTA V at 1440p

I meant I own the 550 Ti and can't afford upgrades at the time because college enjoys eating my money :/ Hopefully they are inflated though. I plan on getting a R9 390 or something "future-proof" within the next year though. Thanks for your info!

My PC can run it in ultra but... I can't afford to get the game... First world problems xD

I never thought a Batman game would release in such terrible condition, and months later it is still garbage and probably won't ever be fixed. They broke my faith in series I trusted to be good based on previous games.
I can't wait for another character with a spinning head like the doctor in New Vegas!

Is that not going to run on the same engine as The Witcher 3? I guess the crowded cityscape will be a bit more demanding than The Witcher 3, but unless they're doing any major engine upgrades, I doubt it will be considerably more demanding (in particular if you consider the fact that it's going to get a console release, and the current consoles had some issues with TW3)

well, no one knows.
but the same engine, with more details can be more demanding

I hope that they, if anything, will focus on optimizing it further, making the minimum settings at least roughly equal. Considering the weak processors that the current generation of consoles have, they will have to do something to at least make it less processor intense (according to people I know who make games for a living, this is the first console generation they've encountered where the processor is the bottleneck, usually it's the graphics card, but this time the processor is so underpowered that it's struggling with PC-games that are several years old).

Cool. I'm not too picky either, but for the first time ever I have a computer that can run most games at max settings. I have two computers, one with quite good components that I needed for my studies/part time work (needs to run mechanical design software smoothly, and also runs games quite well), and one with recycled parts around six years old. I have that one connected to a 720P TV, and it can run most games surprisingly well, despite having an old and not too powerful GPU. The lower resolution does quite much. The good computer has a 1080P monitor, and that is much more demanding.

Phew, barely got it. I'll be happy if it can run smoothly even on medium settings

ehm...
Gt 650m, 2Gb VRAM
(other specs are ok)
help me out here... I can run modded Skyrim at relatively high settings at 40 fps... extrapolating from this, I can't see how it shouldn't run F4 at minimum settings at 30 fps including reducing resolution...

what is this: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent?
7870 is equal to gtx760, 550ti is nothing vs 7870
are they dumb or what?
P.S. I can easily run it on high settings

AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB
Damn it, need to hurry up and replace the 6570

thx for the info..good that i recently build a new computer and have more than recommended specs. :)

I legit have no clue if I could have even a hope of running this on my current machine, but I'm planning on building a new one in the future.
Any thoughts though? I am able to run FO3 and FO:NV on 'okay' settings. Nothing too fancy, but enough for me to enjoy it. Payday 2 also runs pretty well.
Intel I3-3220 3.3ghz
8gb ram
EVGA geforce gt 730 2gb gddr5
and hell, why not my motherboard too.

That graphics card is going to struggle, it's not really one meant for gaming, but rather a general purpose graphics card. it will of course run plenty of games just fine, just don't expect to run anything that's considered demanding on it.
And more often than not, games will demand more from your graphics card than any other component (there are exceptions, of course), so having an underpowered graphics card is a greater issue than having an underpowered processor.

Thanks for the informative reply Fnord. I actually had no idea on that. I'll be sure to do my research when I build my new rig, once I have the money to spare on it anyway.
