Are there any games worth purchasing at the moment or if not already released, worth pre-purchasing it? I went with MGSV instead of Mad Max and I'm glad to have made that choice. All I was looking forward for this year on PC was Need for Speed and it has been delayed till Spring 2016.

I also want to mention to discount the games such as Star Wars Battlefront or FIFA 16 from the list.

Great idea. I'll keep that on my list. Never been fan of Just Cause series though.

Cities Skylines, Pillars of Ethernity, were launched this year and both are great and PC exclusive, Witcher 3 is also already out, Fallout 4 is yet to come out,

Forgot about Fallout 4. Never played the last games. Definitely something worth checking out. Already got Witcher 3 and I'm just waiting until Hearts of Stone drops.

Definitely Tales of Zestiria. Can't believe the franchise is finally expanding to PC.

Oh my, another Symphonia fan? We're such a rare bread anymore! XD Most people I find think the older ones are bad since there's not as much to the combat. =/

Assassin's Creed Syndicate looks interesting with trains and all but I would hold on to that purchase until reviews so It's not another Unity.

Unfortunately Ubisoft sells their games only in Russian in CIS region. I'll have to back off my purchase until they give us full English with other languages. I'll still keep an eye on that though, but Ubisoft cough....

It may well have issues but it 2 I'll be nowhere near as bad a launch as Unity. Rogue was almost flawless.

I'm looking forward to the new Hitman but I hear that's moved to 2016.

I really enjoyed Hitman Absolution (was my first game in the series). Glad they've backed off "Hitman as the service" and actually want to finish the game in 2016.

Have you played any of the other games in the Hitman series?

I played all Hitman games to date and I must say I like Hitman Absolution the most. it's such a enjoyable game. :-)

Also I heard on GMG that the new Hitman won't have a season pass and paid DLC!!!

Technically, a large part of the game is going to be paid DLC (see my comment below).

They're still going for a strange release model in which you're buying only about half of the game first, though...

"[...] weโ€™re going for a new release model where we put out a good chunk of the game when it begins and then release the remaining locations over time."

Permalink

But... would we have to pay for the remaining locations?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That was the original release model. 34.99$ for the first part, 29.99$ for the second. I just checked, though, and it seems they received some negative feedback about that (GOOD), so they've just recently added the option to pre-order the whole game for 59.99$.

I would really not hold my breath for that one. Sure hope it gets released soon, but it's the kind of massive project that tend to end up being delayed multiple times (and I for one don't mind "that" much, rather get a game that works well, even if it means waiting a few months extra).

Platinum is not a excelent company, but they always work hard on their games, you can also expect them to make a game for classic transformers fans rather then following the Bay movies.
Although the fact that its not a cash in might also mean it will be the ladt game for a long time

Legend of Korra was certainly a low effort cash in so j wouldn't expect much.

Preordered Assassins Creed. Hope it will be as good as unity (not joking, Unity was great and I had no problems at all).
Looking forward to Overlord, also pre-ordered.

The Witcher 3's first expansion is coming this year. And the game already has (even if the tools are crap) mod support. With a few mods the game deserves to be called a masterpiece.

Been waiting for freaking ever for Dragon Fin Soup to come out. Was expecting it at the end of last year and now I don't know if it's even gonna come out THIS year. I never buy anything on launch day and I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to play Fallout 4 without building a new rig. Right now I wouldn't even be able to afford a 60 dollar game. But I am looking forward to Dragon Fin Soup if it ever freaking releases.
