the real download is less than that, pc or mac. steam is imprecise when preallocating hd space, check that again when the download started.
the hd pack contributes 1-2GB to the dl.
you can untick the hd pack and it won't sum.

So is Deus Ex Mankind Divided, for example (76GB). When it was on sale, I wanted to try the pirated version to see if its worth the price, but I changed my mind after I saw that size.
Also, Outlast 2 demo (~15min of gameplay) was 10GB. 40GB isn't that much nowadays.

nope, Deus Ex is only a 23GB download. I don't mean size after extraction, I mean the actual download. and GoW4 is probably the biggest game i ever downloaded. ^^
Also, I am pretty sure Deus Ex MD doesn't take up 76GB. More like 40GB. I think that was only that pirated copy. The normal version isn't that big.

Looks like this glitch is store wide. It seems to double the discount on almost anything that is onsale. Check it out. Its not working on shit like Titanfall 2, but it is on catalog titles i.e. State of Decay Year One for 3.74, same price for Enter The Gungeon. You HAVE to add the game to your cart to see the extra discount.
