That's bad. :/ He obviously revoked the game. If you have proof of this trade along with pictures of your steam discussion with him, then at least you can report him for this. :/ I hope you will feel ok soon. :)

And, for your information, I got scammed once too. A guy with a lot of +rep decided to get money fast in order to buy a motorcycle (yes, true story), used stolen paypal, bought many GTA V gifts, sold them to many people, including me (I bought 2 GTA V gifts for 20 keys each), and then they got revoked. Steam support only returned me the 20 keys back, but it was still something. I also got him banned on steamrep. :P That happened a long time ago, but it proves that even people with a lot of +rep can scam at some point. -_-

I see people asking to "trade" +rep on steam groups and forums all the time, it's just ridiculous (and it seems to work, too)

Yes, I know about this thing. xD But this trader was a known trader. :P And there's not also this +rep trade you're saying. There's also the "Enter my giveaway for a knife just by leaving a +rep comment" and the fake people's +rep comments.

join a group like CS:GO rep where you make a rep page that you can't fake rep on. So much easier and much more trustworthy. If they don't have one, assume they don't have rep.

You are still alive. You are still healthy (I assume). You didn't lose money that isn't yours or an amount that would ruin your life. Everything is fine. Almost. ;)

Do you know the fable "The Fox and the Grapes"?

The message is obvious: CoD BO3 is sour, so no loss. ;)

If it's the first time you are tricked like this and the trade was made within Steam trading window (not sure if gifting system works here) then you can try creating a ticket for Steam Support. If you are lucky they'll return you the stuff though not guaranteely soon and not guaranteely at all too.

you have to learn to think positive. last time my account hacked , lost all steam gifts and csgo weapon skins ( included 2 knifes) , lost more than $500 in total. But, it doesn't mean my life is over. At least for your case, you still able to recover all your gifts (it may take some time for Steam support to return it to you)

Lots of scamming around :/ I personally wouldn't trust almost anyone to trade via Steam unless I knew them personally / long time friend in Steam... You can't really do much than report the scammer. If I have understood Steam support right, they won't do much in cases like that.

IF you get them back it will take some time. Steam support is quite busy with all their work adn sometimes they respond after weeks / months. I don't know about the situation at the moment nor the priority list but my friend has a problem with this account on 2014 and the response time was 1½ months. Good thing was that the communication was faster after the initial response and the whole thing was done in two days :)

I hope that you get your gifts back, I'll keep my thumbs up!

Don't worry bro. I was gonna trade my club nintendo Super Mario Bros 2 Golden Coins code for 3DS to a guy on Reddit for their Golden Sun game. I also got scammed. So you're not alone, man. <3 FeelsBadMan

Don't be depressed my friend. Take it as a lesson in life, learn from it and do your best not to make the same mistake again. All you can do is learn from it and move on. These things are temporary.
