In my case I've played a lot of NV, haven't touched 3 and barely tried the first entry, which didn't make me feel anything but I gave up really quick so I can't say much about it. I'm not overly hyped for 4, but I'll wait for the couple of months to pass by (maybe playing 3?) and then get it on discount.

Honestly, Fallout 3 kind of killed the franchise for me. The games are still amazingly done, and I will play them all eventually, but I DON'T WANT FPS!!! Part of the appeal of the game to me is the turn based tactical combat. It was fun using VATS to target your shots. It was nice being able to wander away from the computer to get some nuka cola or to play with Dog...
At least I have Wasteland 2 now...

You and me, mate. Loved FO1 and 2, and I even played Tactics... but FO3 just put me all the way off.
FO4 I guess will be the typical Bethesda product, once again.
P.S.: Cheers for the GAs! :D

I'm not hyped one bit, I got Fallout 3 with my Playstation 3 way back when and couldn't get into it. I wouldn't mind playing 1, 2, and Tactics but I don't have any interest in the newer ones.
Sort of annoying, been playing lots of good co-op lately and now I'll be all lonely because everyone wants to play FO4 (and I don't)

I'm not excited because I haven't played Fallout.... yet.
I'm more a fantasy, dragons&elves&knights&magic type of girl, you know. ¯_ಠಠ/¯

I think jbondguy and I are (and were) more hyped for Just Cause 3. I just can't wait seeing all the possibilities AND the huge 400 square kilometer map. OMG I hope my machine will be able to run it ^^
As soon as they publish minimum requirements, and my rig will be around it, I'm gonna Pre-Order XL edition :D

Thanks for The Forest giveaway, it looks cool.
Regarding the Fallout games, 3 was the first I played, and I loved it. I put in a lot of hours, and soon after finishing I immediately bought NV. Loved both games. Years later I bought the original fallout games from GOG, but couldn't really get into them. Probably just need to be in the right mood to play old style games, but haven't gotten round to it yet. Maybe you're having the opposite problem, where you enjoyed the originals, but can't make the transition to the updated style of 3, NV and now 4.
I'm looking forward to getting 4 someday, but I'm prepared to wait a long while.

Fallout 1 and 2 were great, Tactics was OK, FO3 was.....eh. I wasn't a huge fan of the FPS/RPG hybrid thing but I played the hell out of it mostly because of mods, if I was stuck with the base game I probably would've returned it. NV was fun because it wasn't made by bethesda, the story was decent and a lot of your choices mattered, it wasn't like FO3 where you followed a linear story and only had a couple real choices that still ultimately had little effect on how things played out at the end.
So yeah, not real hyped for FO4 since it's back in bethesda's hands. That and I promised myself I'd never give bethesda another penny after the whole Fallout Online debacle, so I wouldn't be buying FO4 anyway.

I still have my original CD-ROMs of Fallout, 2 and Tactics. I own but have yet to play 3. I will probably wait for 4 to go GOTY before I buy it.

You probably have 3 categories of people here...
Regardless, thank you for this thread and the giveaways you made. Much appreciated!

Nah, I'm not too excited either. I own one of the Fallout games but I haven't even played that one yet, so I have no hype for the fourth one. I am planning to get that eventually though. The game has a GS. I have to buy it.

You are not alone :) I was a big fan of the first 2 games, I tried a little bit one of the 3D sequels but I didn't find the "magic" of the previous ones.
Also bump for nice GAs !
Edit: fun fact, my brother is widely using my library thanks to family sharing (that's why I'm playing in offline mode 99% of the time), and he decided that the game he buys from now on will be gifts to my account :) That's how I got F4 yesterday, tried it a little bit, it looks good...

I've only played the first 2 entries in the series, although I do own the rest...many times over (digital and physical copies). I just can't bring myself to play 3 or New Vegas more than an hour or so.
Maybe it's the setting? -shrug- I dunno. I could never pin it down to an exact reason.
Maybe I'm more excited about other games coming out this year or early next year? Xenoblade Chronicles X is coming next month.
Maybe I'm in a gaming slump, where nothing appeals to me until I get out of it?
WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME, GUYS?!
