Hi!
Just won The Walking Dead Season 2 via Unlucky 7, but I noticed hot it was a PA giveaway too. I was already thinking about applying for the group. Question is: can I play TWD S2 as a joining test or is it too short? I mean it is an episodic game that should take 10-15 hours at most. If it is too short, I can play F1 2015 for my "CV" to join PA (that is another game I won recently and haven't played just yet.

Hi itsmyghost, we are currently in the process of clearing out all our old join requests and I came across yours. I would like to know if you would still be interested to join the group?
If I won't get a reply in a week I will simply mark you as not interested to join on our list, but you would still be welcome to join once you have beaten the game :)

Hi!
I totally forgot about this. I don't know what to say. I might be a wrong fit. I did not finish The Walking Dead Season 2, actually I only finished 4 games that I won on SteamGifts since I'm a member of the site (She Remembered Caterpillars, The Stanley Parable, Reveal & Shadwen)...so, long story short, I'll leave this up to you to decide if I'm still ok to join considering everything.
Thanks!

You are still welcome to join if you finish The Walking Dead Season 2 or you can pick a different game to finish (but you need to let me know what that game is before you start it), just let me know what you wanna do :)

No clue. I'm too invested in Dead by Daylight recently so even if I start TWD, it might take a few weeks.

Hi mstrkllr, as you were already told a year ago, you are welcome to join but you have to choose an option you would like to join with.

Thanks icaio! Happy you like it. Still some more fine-tuning that can happen here and there, but it's workable! ^^ As for the blue; you have a sharp eye! Seems that between Bootstrap v3 (= the old) and Bootstrap v4 (= the new) the creators of it changed it (what is bootstrap you ask? well it's like the pencil box to make the drawing :P).

ouch.
heard of this pencil before, didn't really know it was a pencil, tho. and while checking it a little, a very little, i've noticed a tiny thing in their Twitter account... like a "follower", a "massive" one, that i quite know (yes, i'm vague).
and this is just a placeholder for a future -bootstrap- comment.
that -awfully- said, what's... really interesting about SG are people like you (or BLAEO's or...) people that dedicate this site a lot of "work", of passion. that's fascinating, 'cause this "should" be just a giveaway site...
that said -2-, you're just like stlpaul, Ref. you deserve a a special, very special blacklist slot cause you're just deepening my SG-addiction...
:P and <3 +a bump, cause... why not? we're in the PA thread!

not that that placeholder changed much its status, but look at Humble!

Hi sbender, since it has been over a year since my last interaction and the game has still not been finished I have marked you as not interested to join anymore. However you are still welcome to join in the future if you decide to do so.

Hello, if possible I would like to join the group using the second option :-)

Hello!
This is a great idea - to play the games in which you won, and not to postpone them for later. I am from Russia and I would like to try this direction. I think this is a good motivation for those who get games and put them in the background instead of playing them right now. I'd like to try that.
True, the power of my computer is not enough to play some new items with huge system requirements, I like light pixel games or small indie projects.
Thank!

Hmm, looking trough your library there isn't that much unplayed for that genre; what about playing Reigns: Game of Thrones?
Comment has been collapsed.
This is very interesting. I think this could be a nice motivation for me, since I frequently put games aside for later and then never play them (this is true not only to gifts, but also to games I buy...)
I wanna join the group through option 1. I'll play Tomb Raider, if that's OK. Its a game I won a long time ago, it was installed back then and I never got to play.

Hello jeffsato! You're welcome to join, playing Tomb Raider will do fine. Please check in again once you've finished the game. :)

Hi Ramoth, you are welcome to join with option 2. Join request approved, welcome to the group! :)

Thank you for the group invite. I am obsessed with PC games, but just don't have the time to play so I am going with option 2 and allow others who do have the time to play games I wish I had time for. For certain survival and zombie games I will find the time to play them https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/y63fQ/steel-rats

If I recall correctly you did originally ask to switch the game in this comment (I saw the comment yesterday but I sadly didn't have time to reply due to something unexpected happening). You can do that but you have to let me know the name of the game before you start playing it, or you can keep Deponia, it is up to you :)

Congrats on finally finishing it! Can't blame you, but hey, at least it is done and dusted now :)
Please request to join the group on the Steam group page and I will approve it as soon as I see it :)

Hello, I didnt know about your group before but I did the Option 1 already: https://imgur.com/a/pEj8LNz
Should I sent a request to join or should join under Option 2? Please let me know.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well I don't mind either way; lets see what the administrators of the group has to say. Are you a member of the group by any chance?
Comment has been collapsed.
Hi FallOfValhalla! You're welcome to join. As pointed out by maruten, you have to comment a game you'd like to play before playing it for option one. Besides LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™ all of your other winnings would still qualify for it. You're also welcome to join with option two, giving away a game you'd like to see getting played. It's your choice, let us know. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah that's awesome! I will join by Option 1 if that's okay and I will giveaway a game in the coming days just as a welcome present :) I sent a request to join the group.
One question: Will I be able to tag another group with the giveaway? Or does it have to be only for this group?
Comment has been collapsed.
Sorry I skipped over the "Besides LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™" part while reading your comment earlier :P
I am trying to get 100 percent in some other games right now, so can I join by Option 2? I will give away One Finger Death Punch.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hi FallOfValhalla, giving away One Finger Death Punch sadly does not count as the game was given away for free before (2 stars next to its name on the giveaway selection page). Would you like to give away a different game then or switch to option 1?
Comment has been collapsed.
Please accept my apologies but I unaware the One Finger Death Punch was given away for me. Would "Dark Angels Masquerade of Shadows" work?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes Dark Angels Masquerade of Shadows would work, would you like to give that away then? :)
Comment has been collapsed.
No worries at all. Join request approved, welcome to the group! :)

I have read the FAQs on the group and made this giveaway: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/SfLPZ/dark-angels-masquerade-of-shadows
Please let me know if I have done anything incorrectly.

Hello, sorry for bothering again, but I had a few questions since I am not clear about a possible situation:
Lets say I win a game, do I have to let somebody know that I am going to start playing? Or that I have finished the game that I have won? Do I need to provide proof of that?
Comment has been collapsed.
Hey! :) All games you win via the group will automatically get tracked via our group tool. We'll approve games there based on your playing stats. When there isn't enough progress made within a month, a member will be kicked or warned (depending on if they left a note/thank you in the giveaway).
TL;DR Nothing to do on your part, just play it and all should be good. :)

Hey bro, sorry for bothering yet again, I set a criteria for my latest giveaway: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/9qPWJ/one-finger-death-punch
I made a statement that, if the giveaways gets 10 entries or less, I might delete it. Will I be breaking any rules?
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah thanks for the info. I am relatively new here, so I didn't know that. Looks like my criteria was met anyway. So I am happy :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, 104 hours of playtime with those screenshots and review is more than enough. :P If you request to join we'll approve it. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hey :) When you login to the group tool you can easily see the progress of game you won and games you gave away. We'll monitor them there and send out warnings when needed.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hello, yes you didn't play your win enough and since you didn't bother thanking the giveaway creator you didn't receive a warning about it.

FAQ with the rules. If you want to rejoin the group once more you have to play all of your leftover wins to the standards described.

Hi, I hope this is the appropriate place to ask some questions. If it's not I'm sorry in advance, and I can delete this comment.
I want to do a giveaway here of the recent freebie Humble Bundle gave out (Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition), as I'm not interested in it & would like for someone else to have it. Is this game & freebies such as this from HB allowed as a giveaway to the PA group? I'm aware that the key code & winner have to redeem the game before a certain time/date, so I will put that in the GA description.
When there's an issue with a winner, due to any of the SG accepted reasons, is the process for asking for a re-roll (sending the support ticket & providing info, screenshots, etc) the same as a public giveaway? Or do I get in touch/message one of the moderators here? I'm trying to search & read SG discussions about private/group giveaway re-rolls, but maybe it's best to ask/make sure on here instead.
Thank you for reading & with any help about these questions
Edit: Added a screenshot link

Hi dreadgal! Like Matwyn said, you are free to give freebies away. When somebody wants to play it, they're in luck; but you might not get entries though.. As for two, we go with SteamGifts rules -- so feel free to ask for a re-roll when you see fit.
Comment has been collapsed.
What happens if my GA doesn't have any entries or less than 5 people when it ends? I know this game I want to share already doesn't count for any CVs and I'm cool with that, but I would like to know what happens with if one or both of those situation happens
Thank you for reply by the way

Hi MrD! You're welcome to join, easiest is giving something away you'd like to see getting played, because I can approve your membership then at once then -- and just did! :P Welcome to the group! And enjoy playing Little Nightmares too nevertheless. ^^

Hi! I asked to join a while back by playing gloom, but I found the game way too hard for me and didn't play the required time. Can I try again, this time with Monster Prom? Thanks a lot :)

Hi DurlockHolmes! Sure, have fun playing Monster Prom then and please comment when you've finished the game. :)

Introduction
Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month. In return members will get higher chances of winning games they want and creators will know their giveaways have a high chance of getting played. The group has more than 1000 members and over 25000 historical giveaways.
