I'd like to play Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart, one of my first win. If it's similar to others HOG games from Artifex Mundi it'll take me 10~15 hours to complete it at 100%.

So it seems, that I do have a game from a Humble Bundle, that I didn't like to randomly give away, but I will gladly donate to be played: "Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game". It's a 2011 game, but many players still believe, that it's the best in this classic XX century grand strategy franchise, and it's certainly worth playing for anyone enjoying "Europa Universalis" type games, that has not played any "Hearts of Iron" game yet.
If it's too dated to be a reasonable donation, then I can play through "Amnesia™: Memories", won here like a week ago, that I have been planning to play at a later date - it's been so far only idled for 6h to drop trading cards and none of 26 achievements is unlocked, yet.

I think I preferred the 1st QUBE Director's Cut. More alot the puzzles were still good. Puzzles were a little easier than the first, and the story a little harder to follow.

Hi I'm having some technical difficulties with the tracker, it seems to be recording people as having their profile set to private.
I double checked my steam profile and it's still public and I checked some other profiles and it looks like it's a widespread issue.

I think I got unlucky when checking earlier, checking a bunch of profiles now and it seems about 10% of the users I'm finding are effected which is even weirder.

Hi :) Steam seems to be having issues with their API. Please login to the group tool, you can see the latest data we have on record then if you are either the creator or winner of the specific giveaway. The group tool updates privacy settings every 24 hours, let's hope they'll fix it soon.

Hello everyone! I discovered this group literally two days ago and it seems like an awesome one to be a part of. For weeks, I've been trying to get my account approved on SteamGifts, but it was only today I finally reached the $100 price value. So I have entered for some lovely giveaways from my wishlist. You entry gets approved once you beat the game you pick (screenshots are optional). Since you don't have any wins you can pick any unplayed game with achievements from your Steam library and play that instead (I can recommend Borderlands 2 and Scribblenauts Unlimited but feel free to pick any other one) and let me know which one you choose :)

I try to 100% certain games if I know they're possible and I'm enjoying them also, but sometimes life or other things stop or prevent me to do those sadly. Wanted to bring those up just in case! With Dropsy though, I have a good feeling I will enjoy it and also be able to complete the main story.

Jut snooping through this thread since bored and interesting to see how it changed. Just on the 1st page you clearly see how different it was for the fact people were just invited, they didn't need to giveaway or play a game to join. I prefer the fact you have the 2 options now though, less likely people will join to get a few games then be kicked this way

I played around with the data I have about the group a couple of weeks ago out of curiosity and I can say that the data definitely confirms this :) I can also say that there is no real difference about unsuccess rates (aka the user getting kicked/banned) between the 2 options. The percentages are about the same which did surprise me. However people who join the group with option 2 seem to leave the group on their own twice as much as people who join with option 1, but the sample size is pretty small.

Well with my snooping I also came across the stats because of the announcements. Very old now but was interesting to see still. Plus reforced came across alot of lvl 9 users. Just a bunch of 10s and 9s
This snooping is also becoming interesting, came across some drama from an impatient member, found a mod trying to join, found muffin who ive never seen on sg before and found out there was a member limit before, wonder what number that was. I'm guessing around 500 since I just saw it was mentioned being bumped up to 600

We have actually been pretty stable around that 880 number for quite a while now. When I became a mod about a year ago there were 850 if I remember correctly.

Oh interesting, I was basing my comment on the fact of how many people requests here but I also know there's still so many people who just never come back after asking. Heck you got in touch with a bunch from like 2 years ago wondering if they still wanted to join or not. I've also kept track of the actual site so I can see all the warnings you've given out but I can't actually see how many of those might've gotten it approved or been kicked. Based on that it will probably be a very long time before you reach 1k members but the fact you even got past 800 people playing their games is very impressive

There is currently a grand total of 129 people "pending". I only got in touch with the people who did have a join request in the group, but the plan is to get around to the rest of them eventually when I got some more time. This tab can give you the vague idea who got kicked or this one on what got approved.

Well I have finally finished going through your discussion pages. There was a lot of it and at the start it was a whole lot of sorting out the rules. It is nice to know that you listened to the members about the changes to the entries and stuff like that. Even if you were maybe planning to add all those new features at one point you still gave shout outs to people who helped come up with some of the rules. Also saw your request for a new mod and the notice of muffin joining the mod team plus a banned person! Greatest moment was seeing morikalina joining in the chat all clueless about the group. You don't really think of mods in groups as clueless members but at point or another most people would be. Considering the timelines of it all I cant actually tell if it is normal member or mod version talking when they tried going on that witch hunt though. they didn't get a big reveal like muffin did (same with mouse not getting one) and I haven't been in this group long enough to know much about its team. Looking at my giveaways its been about 4 months
The discussions literally go like this:
we need better entry rules
We need exclusive gas for gifters or another group
We need max wins in some form
Pa members should play their wins even if they are in other group
now a day its:
Some sort of stat/achievement is wrong
At this point I think I did all the spying I could possibly do. I dont see much more for me to snoop around in. Unless that 30 people chat is active and I'm missing all the gossip

You won't get banned if the key doesn't work, but the winner will/should mark it as "Not Received" if the key doesn't work unless you provide him with a replacement working one and that will cause you to lose one giveaway slot. Up to you if you want to risk it or not. I know there is a way to check what the Steam key is for if you already own the game but I don't know how to do it exactly and I can't find the instructions for it to save my life. You can also just leave the key in a thread like this if you don't want to risk it.

I’ve heard that you can check key without activating, but realized that no one knows how to do this, which makes me think that it’s not possible since a key should be personal and not meant for sharing. Thanks for the tip, but maybe you will see anthor giveaway in the near future as well.

You could try to activate the key on Steam, and if you already own it Steam will prompt a message saying "Product Already Owned". When you click "Finish" steam ask you if you want to install the game related to the key.
Or you could try to redeem the key on ASF with "redeem botname ANIPC-RW0LD-QC20D" and it will prompt this:
<botname> Key: ANIPC-RW0LD-QC20D | State: Fail/AlreadyPurchased | Elements: [335872, Breach - Base Game Key] <botname> Unused key: ANIPC-RW0LD-QC20D
but you don't know if the key is good or not;
If you don't own the key and it's duped ASF will return this:
<botname> Key: ANIPC-RW0LD-QC20D | State: Fail/DuplicateActivationCode | Elements: [335872, Breach - Base Game Key]
In the end there isn't a way to check if a key is working or not without activating it otherwise people could exploit the system checking all the possible combination of chars in the key format.
P.S. You could always create a giveaway stating that you don't know if the key is working or not and asking the winner to agree to delete the giveaway if the key isn't working. If the winner is a nice person he will agree, and you only lost a giveaway slot without others penalty.

This means that the key is Postal 2. So now you say that "you don't know if the key is good or not".
Meaning it might already be used? It says "Unused key:xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx"

Introduction
Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month. In return members will get higher chances of winning games they want and creators will know their giveaways have a high chance of getting played. The group has more than 1000 members and over 25000 historical giveaways.
