Bought Duke Nukem Forever and traded it for Dead Island.
The guy I traded with was a bit worried about the North American key. Does Steam even care if your keys are from another region? I mean, it could legitimately be bought on vacation, studying abroad, be a gift from American family or something similar.

This is a post I found on the Amazon forum:
AnyColourYouLike says:
It would be great if anyone and everyone could submit a price match suggestion for Total War: Shogun 2 as well as Dead Island. Both titles are at the previous amazon price (1/1/12) on competing sites. If enough of us let amazon know we can enjoy the lower price AND our promotion discounts!
The store page has an option under product details labeled "Tell us about a lower price?" click that and fill out the form and submit. The info needed is below:
Total war: Shogun 2: http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TWS2/total-war-shogun-2 $7.48
Dead Island: http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/action/dead-island $14.98

has the price been changed on gmg? I submitted a request yesterday for shogun 2 but the price is still the same so I can assume either the price on gmg went back up or the price match team has been warned not to reduce the price to prevent the keys going out for $2.5

oh man, try to read the forum every once in a while ... you just need to enter any US address (which exists) and use your credit card, nothing more, nothing less, it is very simple. if you can't find any address on Google Maps, then you're doomed forever :)

you need to update your thread. Shogun 2 is now $28, DNF is $15 and GTA IV is $10 (round figures)

Ha - Duke Nukem Forever was briefly the best selling game on Amazon, undoubtedly because it was only $0.99.
I'm glad I managed to snag a copy before the price went up. Looks like the price on some other $4.99 titles got raised too. They're still generous deals but I'm kind of sad Amazon's specifically reacting to it. Why should a $5 off coupon not work on a $5 product?
