Their phone support are pretty great. Had to call them today actually because of a glitch where my bank account was getting viewed as both verified and not verified. All stemmed from removing and re-adding the same bank account. Paypal said it was already verified and the merchant said it wasn't. Took a transfer and a couple of attempts but they took care of it in the end. Never be afraid to click the Contact Us link at the bottom of their page. You are never on hold for too long and the reps know their stuff. They might even be able to help you get verified. Just call em.

I actually had to fax them a photo ID once to prove I wasn't living in Poland because I was selling a lot of TF2 keys to a guy that lives there (yes to the one guy who knows it was Pycho.... yes,,,, it was him). Verified accounts have a little more insurance, more trustworthy.

my city has 2,7 million ppl (4th most populated nation lol). my highschool have 1200 student and i kno almost all of them. if i live in ur town, i guess i can greet everyone. what a 180 degree different condition, and yet we met here lol. i can imagine living there for 2 week of peaceful and freshness

We moved here a year and a half ago and I haven't really bothered exploring the neighbourhood at all. Partly because I'll move out within 2 or 3 years now and I don't really care either...

Non verified paypal have a risk of invalid purchase, if someone sells you keys or buys a humble bundle from you, and your account will be deleted, the money sent by you will be removed as well or the game revoked by HB due to invalid payment, but you are able to keep the keys, it's just an example, not saying that you will do this.

You can purchase bundles, but not Monthly, at least this was my case, i was always able to buy the "normal" bundles, but that one time i've bought the Monthly, i needed a friend, because it asked for a verified account.

I don't have credit cards so my Paypal is not verified either.
I successfully bought $1 bundle from Humble Bundle at the last Capcom bundle.
And I've received money via Paypal, twice.
So without verified account, I can confirm at least you can buy from Humble Bundle and receive money from other Paypal users.

You can use unverified paypal for buy from game store like HB, BS, IG.
Just make sure you have enough balance because AFAIK you didn't have CC and paypal didn't provide "add fund" option from bank (in your country)
You can top up balance, even with unverified account.
Some top-up said that your account must be 2 weeks old or 1 month
The difference between Unverified and Verified for top up is just the amount.
AFAIK you can't top up more than $25 with unverified account.
Beside that, ppl who provide top-up service will not guarantee the transaction if you have unverified.
Again, check FJB, you know what i mean..
I bought some bundle from HB, IG, BS, Groupees, GMG, etc with UNVERIFIED account.
But i already verify my account now, only use debit..

Back when I first made paypal I was unverified for a while as well. As far as I remember there was a spending limit, for example you couldn't spend more than 400$ a month or so on purchases and there was a 3K cap in total or something.. But you can still buy things obviously. I mainly used it for ebay then. I verified some time later but had no problems before that either.

I just made Paypal so i can buy humblebundle by myself cebause for now its hard to find seller in my country that sell humbun (i buy tier 1 for $1,1. so dont suggest buy from sg trade).
