Having a converter and editor might be useful, but I wonder if the screen recording is anywhere as good as OBS...

i just try software, have full function, only burn disc is trial 7 days (when it says free app), my opinion very worth for that price (90%) anyway

So apart from the trial thing, is it still a good enough buy/program?

some people pointed out you need to give credits to the software on youtube videos description

Thanks, I bought it. I needed something like this, I plan to release some videos soon ^^

P.S. It's 93MB, I'll try it out soon.

Mind to confirm the "trial" issue?

I don't have such an issue, yet. But know this, if all the features available works as intended, it's a steal at that price. UI is amazing, there are lots of features that I'd love to try out and the program is quite fast.

Edit: I had some trouble, it turned out to be a corrupted video, nothing about the software.

The "17" stands for "outdated software"?

hmmm....that's strange. The description says that it has a screen recorder included. But I was wondering why they sell a bundle with a game recording software then ...
( Movavi Video Suite Game Edition - Movavi Video Suite + Gecata by Movavi - Game Recorder )

So you can record your screen, but no games then? o_O

Thanks! Looks useful to me. It won't record game footage as someone else has said, and apparently there are issues trying to burn a disc after some time but neither of those are important to me. Looks like a good set of features for $8

Jesus Christ, don't pay for this junk on Steam. People, if you're looking for a real video editing suite get DaVinci Resolve 15. The newest version is basically Adobe Premiere + AfterEffects + SpeedGrade + Audition in one package. It's what the pros in Hollywood use (not kidding, chances are your favourite show or films were partly made with it), and the best part is that it's freeware. Absolutely free for you to keep forever. (You can also buy the $299 Studio version with advanced features, but the free package has 90% of the functionality). Be prepared for a bit of a learning curve but there's plenty of good Youtube tutorials out there.

(P.S.: If Resolve is too daunting/demanding, check out Hitfilm Express, also great and free.)

Yeah, Jesus Christ people, know everything already!

Thanks for the tip anyway, going to give 'em a go and probably end up refunding this one.

Didn't mean to imply that you should be omniscient, sorry if I came off that way. It's more like people will see 90% off of anything on Steam and completely lose their shit. Just wanted to offer a heads up that there are far superior alternatives for free out there before you drop your hard-earned cash on this "deal".

Haha, fair enough. I do appreciate the heads up, didn't realize I wanted something like this until it came up (been living in the dark ages with avi demux for basic edits for years), so if there are better options and free to boot, I'm all for it! :)

Somebody knows his stuff.
I'm using the Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve is still better for color correction and grading though, but it's probably unnecessarily complex for simple editing most people (noobs :P) do.

Yeah, no doubt Resolve is an absolute beast of a software package, especially in its current form with all those integrated high end effects and audio wizardry modules. I've really come to appreciate the color correction tools (and they're easier than ever now actually with the addition of the black and white point selector), so much so that I miss them in other programs. But it's so worthwhile and rewarding to learn a proper NLE, and Resolve is awesome and free so I felt like beating the drum for this one :)

DaVinci Resolve definitely has a steep learning curve but with some tutorials it seems doable. I tried out Movavi and while it was easier to get started with, there's definitely not much substance to it. Got a refund and going to slowly work on getting better with Resolve.

Anyway, that was my long way of saying thanks again for the suggestion, I've used a lot of free programs in the past that were usually just poor copies of paid software but this seems like the real deal that's worth learning how to use (especially when it's free!)

I'm glad you're finding Resolve useful. It is an absolute beast of a program, but there's so much you can do with it, it's very worthwhile to learn. I've been using it for a couple of years and I'm still finding new stuff all the time. It's very rewarding! With that in mind, this recent overview of the features by Endgadget might be helpful in describing what the modules do so you can zone in on one and seek out tutorials for the functions you're interested in. (I recommend getting to grips with the Edit module first, then Color. You don't have to dive in the deep end and go all in on color grading [although that can also be fun!] but the Color module has the famous rock solid tracker which is great for all kinds of stabilising and tracking effects). Good luck and have fun making and breaking suff :D
