I would say Monaco was the best cooperative game in 2013. Fluid gameplay, coupled with a class system, makes for a highly re-playable game. Your mileage may vary depending on who you play with; online co-op may not always result in the best experience, but you can mix it with local players :P

I'd prefer Chaos Theory coop but SCC coop mode is great too.

Monaco is fun. Is a shame almost nobody makes coop stealth games.

But the stealth in Payday 2 is pretty bad. Unless you get to quite a high level, you're gonna have a bad time.

i loved FC3, i stealthed the whole game. but no co-op mode isnt what you think. it cant be stealthed

the co-op has no stealth.

There is some player made missions and you can make your own. Being inserted by heli far away, by a foggy night, walk for an hour by foot while avoiding patrols, snipe or blow something, walk away for an hour and being extracted. Not something i would do twenty times in a row but it is a very good experience and atmospheric experience. Being a sniper in multiplayer also requires some stealth. Hiding in a building in the shadows and muffling your rifle noise. Be one with herbs. Infiltrating from the water as a diver is nice too in multi when you come on someones back with your silenced weapons.

Stealth didn't work out so well for our co-op...
