its spring and i dont work or school so break all the time

Spring Break is a North American thing I believe. Am I missing out on anything important?

I used to have spring break in high school. Back then it was a week of from school but it was never anything wild. When I got to college we only got a summer break and a winter break but never anything during the spring. So to me spring break is basically as mythical as a porn plot. It's always super sexualized and fun but it only seems to happen in movies and stories

I can't remember my last spring break (and not even for any of the fun reasons).

Pancakes dont get a week off to enjoy time away from their weekly grind. They just lay there and accept their fate. Maybe one pancake, maybe a stack of flap jacks. The outcome is always the same. No break, no joy, no love. Just syrup and butter and disembowelment.
