minus and minus equals plus :) but it's not yet another hidden object game. it's an adventure game with ho as a mini-game. much better isn't it? and it's not a reality show either because it's a game. i hope i reassured you :) thanks!

Voted, I dont have any problem with hidden object games. In fact I quite like this genre if its done well and Im sure it is :3

Even though I don't like the way of the promotion and I don't really like the genre,
This game looks good and serious. I don't mind quality games joining Steam, up voted!
Edit: forgot to add, Teyon (the game's dev?) is nice, which is an important factor for me.
I wish you luck! :)

Thank you :) Yes, Teyon is a developer of the game :) I'm pretty sure the whole team will read all the comments.

this is one of the problems with the greenlight steam system...

oh come on, stop complaining. You dont like? then just dont vote it
Seriously all those butthurt people..

so sorry you have the opportunity to get the game for free :( just joking. truth to be told, greenlight steam system has its downsides but i don't believe giving away free codes is one of them. if the game is good, is that really a problem?
Comment has been collapsed.
I dont see any problem with it personally its just some people will always complain about everything. Just ignore them. You can do it guys ;D
Comment has been collapsed.
Are you just giving away free copies? No, you do that to lure these fucking freetards to vote for your shit they wouldn't bother looking at otherwise in million years so you could have a chance to sell the game to others via Steam's digital store. They don't bother if the game is any good to vote for it. They don't bother if it's bad, technically broken or overpriced and if someone will purchase it later in result of their action. For them it's free and on Steam, and it's all they care about.
Good for you. Is that good for them? In the long run I don't think so even if they think otherwise now, since they're supporting shady practices and I despise you for triggering the worst in them.

You're (I'm guessing your involved in the game) basically bribing people. Its not entirely your fault, you are taking advantage of a broken (from day one) system.
Comment has been collapsed.
We're not that evil! :) Bribe is a harsh word - it suggests we just pay to get people's votes. In this case players greenlight a game that they will get (without other benefits, just this particular game). There's no reason to greenlight if they don't like it so IMHO our giveaway is rather similar to other marketing promotions and advertisment. I guess you could say giving away free game codes is bribing people to get better comments or reviews, but it doesn't feel that way, right? We could pay for ads to increase publicity but it would be way out of our budget. Greenlighting on Steam is a really tough process because of the sheer amount of games (everyone can submit their concept, whether it is a high quality game or not..) Anyway, thank you for sharing your opinion!

The price point on Steam has not been confirmed yet.

Steam codes for all group members :) I hope your GF will enjoy the game.

To all you people talking about bribing - Greenlight is severely broken, tons of shit get greenlit with every batch due to primates being allowed to breed and own computers. Games are greenlit in batches of as big as 100, it's fucking ridiculous. And many of those don't bribe people with free keys, they bribe them by costing 20$ and sucking major dick. Valve has set the bar for quality and there's no stopping the ever rising flood of shit. So even if people resort to bribes and even if their game happens to be shitty - it's not their fault. Give Valve a piece of mind, leave the poor devs alone.

Kudos to Extra Credits for popularization of the genre :)

Kudos to Artifex Mundi for bringing it up. They're getting to be my favourite devs. The two games of them I played are top notch (or maybe one notch below the top, they weren't perfect but they were great). Pity they don't have a lot of Android games, since that's my main gaming platform these days.

Hey, thanks for the mention. I don't watch Extra Credits regularly (though I've seen some episodes), but as a HOG fan I found it an interesting episode. Indeed the reason I got into HOG's was that I'm an adventure game and this is the most alive sub-genre, and also good for someone like me who turned casual due to lack of time to invest in lengthy games.

Congratulations everyone, you're not only supporting shady practice to get on Steam, I knew the company's name rings a bell...
Creators of amazing titles like Heavy Fire Shattered Spear [+metacritic links 1, 2] or Rambo The Video Game, another video... So you're also supporting plain bad developers just as expected, GG.

Hello Mindestens! :) Thank you for your research.. however, have you actually played Heavy Fire? This is an on-rails shooting game and people who don't like this genre usually hate it. But... a lot of people actually liked this game-play. This is the reason why Heavy Fire: Special Ops was #1 in the WiiWare top selling charts for almost a year. Give it a try with Playstation Move or Wii Remote and tell us what you think.
Rambo is a game that hasn't been released yet and here you can find much better quality videos: https://vimeo.com/reefentertainment/videos
That being said... It's not a really good idea to compare our on-rail shooting games with adventure games. They are developed by seperate teams and don't really have much in common. Google Paranormal State, take a look at the walkthrough that has been posted in the comments. I'm not saying you will like it, but I think it will be more fair to assess the game on its merits.
Have a good day :)

Oh I'm sorry, I thought your on-rail shooting games are developed by the same COMPANY making adventure games and the first ones prove it has no problem selling products with low production values and inadequate price tags. So it might be a good indication of it's work and business model overall. My bad.
And believe me, if your adventure game is what I assume it is based on your business model as it looks, I'm exactly the kind of guy you don't want to see opinion about your product compared to others.

I respect your opinion but it's not entirely fair, Mindestens, is it? ;) And, for the record, Heavy Fire on WiiWare was always priced $5, so maybe you will give it a try? :) It is still on-rails, though. In any case - you have a really nice collection of games. Be well!

That's a personal choice perhaps. I'm not giving a "No" vote because the dev has previously makes a bad game. I give a vote based on the game's worth. Unless if the dev makes a bad action/move against the fan/community, then it won't be about the game anymore.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't really like this kind of practice especially with crappy games. I only voted a game for its worth. I'd vote no if a game is not worthy even if the dev give a free key.
This game looks like Nancy Drew games which I previously play and enjoy. So I voted Yes because it looks like it gonna be an enjoyable casual game. Hope the story is well written because for me, a puzzle/hidden object game are best with good story, not just mindlessly looking for 12 hidden playing cards in a room.

I voted no because it really doesn't look that great. If you vote yes just for a free game then that is your choice but please try to critically analyze the game before you do.

Fair enough, but I still encourage you to take a look at this video (there's raw video footage): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waUbBCrMWp8 Maybe you will change your mind, maybe not. And I definitely hope you will like our other games :) Take care!

I like the way you're handling the negative comments you're getting. It's rather refreshing to see such positive energy. I can understand the POV of both you (your company) and the criticizers so I'm not going to say much on the actual topic but just wanted to let you know the professionalism while responding to them is well appreciated.

Would have voted no if I did not like the game. However, the free game thing did get my attention and surprisingly the game looks very interesting. With all the greenlight projects I understand you need a way to focus some attention on your game and this is a lovely way if you ask me. Looking forward to playing the game and thanks for the opportunity to get it for free.
