TWD Final Season was already purchase disabled, because right now it's not assured that episodes 3 and 4 will be released.
Other than that: nobody knows. TTG might sell the games to another publisher or not, the games might get removed directly after an official bankruptcy or only after their licensing will expire.

At this stage, I am just hoping the 225 that was removed get what they deserve, they were overworked before they were removed, its really a scum move to squeeze every bit out of them and left them with nothing. Is it the result of bad management by the previous CEO? Perhaps as they were bleeding and result in his removal.
However, the new management gone on to announce new titles, project and use of a new engine. Weren't they at that point shooting themselves in the foot or carrying too much load when you are thin? That maybe to attract more investors, the reason I read that result in the closure was an undisclosed investor pulled out. Was it a result of confrontation with the current management? Well, I would if I see the situation 1st hand at how they had been handling all these issues.
Although, I did not follow their twitters, there is quite a few of the previous employees coming out with sadness and regret how the projects they were working on or had worked before just came to a halt. There are also several reveals so if you are interested you can search for them.
Best wishes for the remaining 25 to get anything till the end. <3

At this stage if the reason behind the closure is indeed bankruptcy then it is out of the hands of the company. In the first place, I believe its a scum move to throw everything under the bus and file for bankruptcy. Either they were foolishly thinking that the final season's sale will pull the company out of the ditch or they plan the move so the management do not need to be responsible. Pretty much what Trump did to his businesses. The employees are the one that suffered greatly here, salary, time sink and emotional distress.
I do hope there will be a resolution that is favorable to the employees of past and present. Cheers, Cruse~

Pretty sad there is no news on the Official twitter(where I get my news) after its reported the original creator is picking up to finish the game.
Is Fault in the downfall of TellTale lies in the previous CEO or Current Management? I am leaning towards the latter.
Cheers, Cruse~

So what do you think?! is it fake or it's for real?
Update : Sadly turned out it's REAL!
https://twitter.com/telltalegames/status/1043252010999410689
The official Telltale Games Twitter account has confirmed the studio's closure in a tweet with a statement from CEO Pete Hawley, who issued the following:
"It's been an incredibly difficult year for Telltale as we worked to set the company on a new course. Unfortunately, we ran out of time trying to get there. We released some of our best content this year and received a tremendous amount of positive feedback, but ultimately, that did not translate to sales. With a heavy heart, we watch our friends leave today to spread our brand of storytelling across the games industry."
The tweet also confirms that a small group of 25 employees are staying on to fulfill the company's obligations to its board and partners, and will issue comments regarding its product portfolio in the next few weeks.
