I suppose I should have mentioned that Enhanced Steam has been downloaded over 400,000 times and the code is open source. There are specific lines in the code that prevent Enhanced Steam from executing on any page where you would need to enter your account credentials.

I use the Steam program to shop but I'll give it a shot thanks

Enhanced steam won't work for me. ;_;
It's always resetting my options...
Any idea how I can fix that?
Comment has been collapsed.
Typically that is caused by a corrupt browser profile in Chrome. Following these directions should fix the issue.

Neat it worked.
Also copied my history so saved all that too. :D

I actually have a suggestion. When you access the market page, the little display that shows you Spent and Earned on market is pretty cool, but freezes the browser for several seconds while it calculates the values. Rather than it being automatic, think you could have a Calculate button to click for the figures to be done? Would prevent the delay in accessing that page in the browser.

I'll keep that in mind. The browser freezing and the length of time it takes to calculate your total is based entirely on how many total transactions you've had in the market.
For now, you can disable the feature by unchecking "Show Transaction Summary on Market" in the options under the Community tab, then re-enable it when you'd like to see your updated total.

Thanks for the info about disabling it, that is fine for me.

At least it seems to be counting them correctly, unlike store transactions on Account Detail page.

The market transaction total on the account page is something I contacted Valve to see if they could fix, but unfortunately they are unwilling. That page only loads the last 200 market transactions, so unfortunately that is all Enhanced Steam is able to tally. When done from the market page, the history tab there has your entire account history.

It used to work for me. But then suddenly it stopped like a month or so ago?

Any way I'm a bit bothered by the other thing highlighted in this screenshot :)

I've been using it for not long ago. It's quite useful, and very customizable. But the warnings in red about extra DRM in the games are not updated.
Example: Call Of Juarez: The Cartel. This game requires Uplay, but Enhanced Steam doesn't warn about it.

Enhanced Steam pulls it's DRM warnings based on keywords found on the page itself. Nowhere on that page does it say that Uplay is required and thus Enhanced Steam cannot tag it appropriately. Unfortunately, it's up to the developers to list the DRM the game is using at least somewhere on the page. :(

I always fascinated when you updated this extension in background without popping up changelog whatsoever. It always gives me surprises :) E.g. that Steam played stats and price comparison. I want to say thank you for enhancing my Steam experience, can't browse Steam store without this extension anymore!

It's a nice app, but I really wish the Firefox version weren't so limited relative to the Chrome version. I have both browsers on my PC but I really don't like Chrome as much...

What features are currently missing from the latest FF version that are in the Chrome version?
Also, I might as well notify you of a bug I've had for a while now. Lists for things like game bundles / collections no longer show green / blue highlights for items owned / wishlisted. It only works on a game itself's page. Tried clearin all cache etc, and it has persisted over to an entirely new profile from a fresh browser install.

I installed it on Firefox, but not very much seems to have changed.
Do I need a public profile for it to work its magic?

Don't forget this too, very useful for checking prices Steam Price Comparsion

That addon never worked for me. Fortunately, the price comparison feature is now included in Enhanced Steam.

Yes, regional prices comparison is now a feature of Enhanced Steam. Started seeing regional prices popping up a few days ago I think.
Well, after looking it up,it's been added to the 5.2 release on December 13th.

No worries, I kinda forgot that there were two separate versions.
I'm not sure how you're doing it, but hopefully you give the ability to disable certain regions. I dislike how the Greasemonkey script shows the UK prices and usually disable everything except RU, UA and BR.

Thanks. I will try this out! Ive put it on my home PC and will do so on the work one too :)

Hi SteamGifts community!
Before the Winter Sale started, I wanted to give everyone who doesn't have it already a heads up that Enhanced Steam is pretty much a "must-have" extension for browsing Steam during the sale.
With it, you can see price information like lowest price, historical lowest price, how many time a game has been in a bundle, and now even regional Steam store price comparisons. It will highlight the games you own and those on your wishlist. It'll make your wishlist more manageable by being able to sort by discount or filter your wishlist to only show discounted games.
Additionally, it even adds links on your profile to wonderful sites like SteamGifts!
Anyway, I hope you guys find the extension useful. If you have any questions / comments / issues feel free to let me know. Cheers!
EDIT: Enhanced Steam has now had over 400,000 downloads since it was originally created in December of 2012 (for last year's winter sale). It is used by over 125,000 people (on average) every day. The code is entirely open source and includes code that prevents it from running on pages where you would need to enter sensitive information.
