^IG is a really shady site.
Have you heard the one about how I pointed out an overcharge to them, and instead of refunding it, they locked me out of my account and blocked my IP- and then after a half year of flat out gnoring my e-mails, facebook messages, and tweets asking if I could access my keys, they deleted my account and its $35 of keys?
Yerp.
But that extreme example aside, from how they mismanaged GalaGiveaways, to how they didn't refund broken keys for myself and others I spoke to, to ignored e-mails, to bundle prices and site formatting..
some people claim positive experiences with IG, but there's definitely a bad streak in there, and occasionally.. it gets pretty notably bad :X
(On that note, if you buy from IG, always remember to immediately store IG keys off-site to be safe!)

Nah, there are at least 2 bundle sites that are even worse, IMHO:
IFK (Indie Face Kick) and bundleblitz

IFK was managed by GATT (Gaming All The Time). They took money from customers, took keys from developers and for a short time everything worked just fine, then devs claimed they never saw any money and soon after that, the IFK site simply vanished and GATT played dead (in their Steam group, facebook site and twitter account).
The IFK site is still gone, but the GATT Steam group is under new management, but they don't give any information to the IFK incidents.
IFK wasn't that well know, so I guess most customers just moved it all to the "lesson learned, only a few bucks lost" category.

What bewilders me isn't even the arbitrary middle finger of it all, but that over half a year and three communication mediums, the entire company couldn't manage to reply to me over it.
so unless the company is run by a single extremely bipolar individual, there's no excuse for the rest of the company backing that scummy initial decision. :|

i thought that was the original price, they always sell it cheaper for the first 24h or so

Not exactly.
For example; $1 for 24 hours, $1.5 after that and $1.99 for Happy Hour.

Yes, they've always done that. I don't really care though because, I mean, you get more copies after all and it's still pretty damn cheap :)
