Finally solved all! 1916 took a while.

I have to reply that WWI started when Austria-Hungary attacked Serbia. The assassination that you(OP) are referring to was just an excuse. There are strong evidence(letters of high ranked politicians and ministers of A-H government, press statements etc...) that Austria-Hungary were about to attack Serbia in the near future. I don't like the fact that 100 years after the Great War, people of the countries that started the war are changing the history and blame Serbia for starting it.

PS. Great history-based puzzles i enjoyed it. We should see more of it.
PS#2. I'm not saying that OP is saying that Serbia is to blame for WWI, i'm just throwing it all out because i'm bored.

I really like this big giveaway:) It is a great concept to follow history like this. Also your choice of questions is pleasant, sometimes it is harder sometimes it is easy, you never know what to expect next:)
