It helps a little to press keys more comfortably, so your fingers won't get that tired over long periods of time. That's it. And if you are not alone in your room, you'll drive everyone else crazy since mechanical keyboards are loud. You need to put little rubber bearings on the keys to make the noise tolerable for others.

If you have a wireless mouse, get a mouse that's wired and has dpi settings and macros. It's important to have input that happens immediately as you move your mouse. I personally use this mouse.
In my opinion, it's a good beginners gaming mouse and helps people get into and understanding how gaming mouses work. I've used mine for the past two years and I still can play pretty solidly. Once you're really getting into cs:go (heading out of the nova ranks), you're going to want to get a better mouse maybe.
Ultimately I found it's good for competitive play and casual play. There's better options out there, but the mouse I recommended gives you results and is cost effective.
You can also adjust the weight of the mouse and the colors. Also it's a claw mouse.

"Although when I went on Amazon I discovered that there is no definitive BEST keyboard for csgo."
You say that like you thought Amazon had a CS:GO keyboards category. (。◝‿◜。)

I am amazed that you would not expect that. Like in most other competitions better/ comfprtable equipment increases your "game" its not much but a little. In real sports the equipment can increase your game more than video games I guess but I still would not wanna play CS with 5$ headphones and a shitty screen.

Unless the equipment which you use is complete garbage and terrible, sorry to burst your bubble but no there is no increase in your game. The new "Gaming" mouse that Razer produced will not make you get 5/5 headshots in CS.
From experience I can tell you, since upgrading to a mechanical keyboard, I no longer feel comfortable on a rubber one. However, it's not like I became pro with it or something. Just the experience using a keyboard got more pleasant.

If it's psychological, then it will last for only short period of time (until you get used to the new one). Let's be realists, almost all the "improvements" in the peripherals are marketing stunts to attract customers. God don't even get me started with all the "Gaming" ones.

Comfort is not about a short period of time and holding something in your hand which always feels great and well produced does'nt realy fade.
This is a bit different but when working with a chainsaw comfort is most important. If you are not comfy and not concentrated enough that is when accidents happen.
I agree on the marketing aspect and most of the gaming stuff. (Lots of LEDs and so on :D)

Get a simple higher-grade gaming keyboard instead. You won't drive yourself and other mad with the clicking sound, much cheaper, and you won't have to throw it out if you spill your drink on it. mechanical keyboards are for typing. They are a lot better for those who type a lot (not talking about spending 24/7 on facebook typing but regularly writing 10-50k words daily typing) since they are more comfortable for the hand joints.

Unless your keyboard is terrible, a mechanical keyboard won't have any real noticeable impact on your gaming performance.
Pick one that you find comfortable. What's "best" will depend a lot on your own preferences. Personally I'm using "black" switches, which are the ones that have a bit more resistance. They might cause fatigue, but I like the feel of them. You might prefer something with far less resistance. Just don't expect to get "better" at the game due to your keyboard.

If you get a noticeable lag, then it's probably not due to the keyboard, but something else. This is in particular true if it only happens sometimes, then the problem is probably with your computer. Some minor stuttering, enough for you to notice a key delay.
I've spent almost my entire life with rubber dome keyboards. Got myself a mechanical last August. Difference in game performance? 0. Difference in comfort? Noticeable, but if you're in a position where you need to save money to get a keyboard, then you should not get an expensive one, unless you do a lot of typing and such as well.

It can be both actually. The software that you have installed can have a big impact on performance and can cause stuttering if you have something that does something periodically. And a fast internet connection does not mean a stable internet connection.
But it can also mean that your receiver is placed in a bad spot, or that something is interfering with it.

Check your hard drive speed :) I made mistake when I was buying new computer and put there hard drive from previous PC.
Even if every other part was superior quality - I had ingame lag when computer was trying to read some files.

normal keyboards are ok for fps but maybe your keyboard is really bad.you don't need 100$+ keyboard for fps.
You do sidesteps but when you aim you must not move and make a wish you will avoid the headshot.the movement in that game is beyond fixed.to learn proper strafes to improve your dodge is something common for many fps.cs throw that out of the window.
sorry but developers of cs go believed they could improve their game if they increase the innacuracy of weapons.there isn't hope for that game.

Anything with a wire will be better than your current wireless keyboard. I don't think the keyboard matters much at all. I have over 2700 hours in CS:S and i'm pretty good, get called a hacker by a lot of people and i'm using a really old keyboard that I have had for a long time. With any CS game, the most important things are a good mouse, monitor, and internet connection, the rest comes down to your reaction time and aiming ability.
If you just search keyboard 5107, that is what I am using. I also play with the arrow keys. I have never played a single game yet with WASD. I like how there is no gap between the up arrow and the keys above it which allows me to use more buttons without moving my hand.

I keep my 3 fingers flat over all the arrow keys. My pinky finger stays on the control key to jump. If I need to walk, I slide it up to the shift key. I use my middle finger to crouch on the end key, just above the up arrow. I can easily hold the crouch and up arrow with the same finger. Page down is my "use" key, Delete is to view the scoreboard. Flashlight is on the 0 number key. I change weapons with the scroll wheel on the mouse and reload by clicking the scroll wheel. If I need to bind other things that are not used as often I will usually put them on other number keys that I can reach with my thumb or pointer finger while still being able to use my other fingers to move at the same time.

I've heard red switches are better than brown, if that means anything. Personally I've demoed a couple at the local electronics store and think the snappiest ones are best.

I got tricked by the 5-star rating. It's USB but they give you this connector that you need to use for full keystroke functionality, that was so heavy that after a week or so it started bending down until it broke, killing half it's value.
Then it fell off my lap when I was standing up, 2-3 foot fall, and the wire inside broke so it would spam random buttons. Tried to take it apart to fix it, you can't, it's snapped together internally so you have to break it to open it up.
0/10, bought an $8 keyboard after and have been using it for over a year just fine.

Keyboard doesn't really matter, I'd recommend a new mouse, however I can't tell which, since I use super cheap GreenTree mouse, it's very comfortable and easy to use tho.
About keyboard, I'm using dozen year old black (Genius)keyboard, it has almost all letters erased, especially near WASD buttons.
Still working perfectly tho, I can play for like 10 hours without getting my fingers tired, also it's very comfortable, and very easy to press.
P.S Don't forget a Gaming Chair, so your back won't hurt, comfortable for hours, Gaming Windows, maybe there's some noise that might disturb you, a kid screaming from outside, or maybe a nuclear bomb exploding somewhere near, and some... Gaming Ceiling, so your building won't go down on you while playing CS:GO.

All the pros use mechanical keyboards, mostly provided by their sponsor.
Yes mechanical is the way to go, but there are different types.
I bought a Razer Blackwidow Chroma from a friend about a week ago. Its an awesome keyboard for csgo. But tbh, its far too expensive if you dont care about the blingbling.
Before I didnt have a mechanical keyboard btw, and it didnt improve my skills (its all about gamesense, map knowledge and aiming. Unless youre a pro you wont experience much difference.)
A good mouse and headset is imo more important

Oh well hard to tell you since i use cheap gaming Logitech G103 keyboard... my friend has Razer BlackWidow and he is very sattisfied with that keyboard... bad thing about mechanical keyboards are that they are so damn loud I can hear mine friend trough mic how noisy he taps on keyboard... I heard also good things about Steelseries keyboards It all depend on how much money you want to spend. But for CSGO is mouse much more important! And a Headset ofc to communicate with teammates!

Hey guys,
I've finally saved up enough to get a decent mechanical keyboard for csgo. Although when I went on Amazon I discovered that there is no definitive BEST keyboard for csgo.
So now I turn to you guys. Can you recommend a good/great mechanical keyboard for csgo? One that you have personal experience with and have noticed a performance increase in csgo play.
