I got a copy of Startopia for $1.
That's right. $1.

I mean, I already own an original retail CD, but that will eventually crumble to dust due to being vigorously rubbed all over my face all these years. My ownership of this game is now a little more eternal. For $1.

I feel happy in my special place.

Also, for those who haven't dug it up yet : "Treasure Adventure Game" is free on GOG, and has been for some time.
Surprisingly good if you give it chance!

that was a given from the moment GoG decided to do freebies, some people are just assholes with no respect for others.
they should have made freebies require some sort of authorization or captcha rather than just a single click.

I understand why they're doing it - publishers wanting to limit how many copies they sell dirt cheap, encouraging impulse buys, etc - but this really is an annoying way to run a sale. :p I've only been interested in one more game for a while now, and yet some games are moving so fast that I have to keep a close eye on the site if I don't want to miss it.

I love the first two Might and Magics. Those were some of my first games as a kid. I need to boot up the old Macintosh (from the '80s) and get back to that Might and Magic playthrough.

hah yeah, I just wish that the gog pack had all of them through day of the destroyer rather than just the first 6 :/ lets forget about the 9 abortion

still feels nice having a copy of those first 6 that I can play on my PC without having to jump through hoops!

Well, GOG also sells 7 and 8. Can wait for the Christmas sale for those.

Also, Might and Magic X is coming. We'll see how Ubisoft does there.

Pardon the double post, but it's probably worth pointing out that for at least the last few games, there's been a "LAST CHANCE" warning under the remaining copies counter, which probably means the sale is nearing its end with no more repeats.

On a related note, has anyone seen such a warning under an Alpha Centauri sale, or should I keep watching? :P
