The sale announcement says there will be 101 titles on sale, and 101 have apparently been seen with titles repeating now: clicky. If you're just looking for one series and it's not on that list, you can probably stop watching the sale. :(
[edit]: You'd think by now I'd know how to link something on here without needing a few tries to get it right...

Thanks for the heads up. I'd seen that list while it was still partially complete, but didn't realize they had announced how many different titles they were having on sale. I just I'll just wait for GK to go on sale again. It happens frequently enough, but never when I have money handy (like now).

None of the free games lasted for 1 full second :)

Yeah it's not too obvious is it, I managed to find out that the "DRM-free" part means that it has no link to Steam or anything of it's sort, which is unfortunate but there you go, hope I helped :)

Wow, 1000 copies of Leisure Suit Larry, although going quicker than I first expected :D

Well, I'm going to assume that they have to have paid for the games somehow. Either by buying licenses ahead of time, or paying per license sold, etc.
So I would assume that there is a finite number of licenses they currently hold, either that were discounted to them, or they have set aside as something they are willing to lose profits on for the promo, etc.
Thus, the total numbers of each game they are willing to give away at deep discounts or free, is, therefore, finite. And in being finite, once this resource is exhausted, the colloquial expression often used is to say it has "run out." Thus, a fair statement would be that they are now "out" of said DRM-free games.
You do understand that lack of DRM doesn't not make something free, and open-source, right? It has a license, and that license still has a fee which must be paid to the distributor/publisher/developer. DRM-Free simply means it lacks some form of intrusive, obnoxious digital rights management software to ensure it's not OMGPIRATED!!! BTW, Digital Rights Management is what DRM stands for, in case you weren't aware of that already.
Does this hopefully clear up any confusion you had there, so we can all get back to the actual topic now?

Anyone else actually buying here? I got meself some 6 games so far, they were rather dirt cheap though and I'm still under 10 bucks I think.

I bought Planescape Torment and managed to get a free game... which was Anodyne -_-

Well, I was able to buy Planescape Torment, Tomb Raider 1-3, and Thief Gold. I'm happy with those, though I'm probably going to keep an eye on the sale if Thief 2 pops up. I'll probably have to buy a friend Blood: One Whole Unit if it shows up again.
And, like many others, I have failed to get any of the freebies. I almost got Puddle and Hotline Miami, and I saw Defender's Quest for a fraction of a second, before the card changed :/

I bought like 10 games yesterday camped out on the GOG home page. Wasn't quick enough to get a free one, but I got a number of good ones at ridic prices.... and I sprung for Divinity: Dragon Commander with the DLC. It was half price, about $22.49... and I couldn't resist. That was my big purchase of the day.
Woke up, logged in to work, hit the GOG page on the other monitor, and the sale is STILL going. Picked up Anvil of Dawn this morning...
Theme Hospital, Populous the Beginning, Aquanox, Anvil of Dawn $1.49
Baldur's Gate II Complete $1.99
Space Colony HD $2.49
Blackwell Bundle $2.99
Retro City Rampage $3.74
NWN2 Complete $3.99
HOMMV Bundle $4.99
Divinity: Dragon Commander Imperial Edition $22.49

You have more willpower than I. I should have walked away yesterday... or not even started! ;)

+!. Bill Me Later's gonna love me owing them money for the next couple of months...
(to be honest, GOG doesn't like accepting my debit card for some odd reason, so this is why I had to resort to BML, until I can add money onto my Paypal account from my bank to cover it)
