Yes I know, valve wanted to release the store page of Half-Life 3 and Portal 3 but the steam AI seen this as a hacking attempt and started some self defense mechanisms.

have you tried to replicate the problem on a different browser?

Huh weird. I have the same issue since the afternoon.

Not same problem but steam has been acting strange for me for a few days. When I add a game that has trading cards it says I can earn 0 cards from it. I have to add a fp2 game in order to receive card from the game.

Same here. I've tried cleared all cookies and cache, set up a blank new browser profile and even tried with a different browser. I still get logged out each time I close the browser. It's annoying because with I don't have (or want) a smartphone, so I'll have to launch a several gigabyte VM each time to access my authenticator code.

Depending on the browser you are using there can be a temporary fix.
