So I have this dog that had a very hard life. His last owner moved to another country and left the dog alone in his house, he spent a week without food a water till my mom broke in and rescued the dog. The vet said that he probably never saw other dog in his life and was phisically abused due to the way he acts.

Because the dog never went outside his house the neighbors never knew what was his name, some didnt even know that the dog existed. So no one knows what was his name

So I was thinking on giving him a videogame related name but I cant think of anything good. I was thinking on "Bigby" like the protagonist of The Wolf Among Us, I was also considering Harold like Fallout's recurring character.

Any suggestions?

Bigby is a good idea :)

Though I'm quite partial to the name Ruvik (Evil Within) myself in case it's a light-coloured one.

Biscuit or Fido.
Actually Bigby has a nice ring to it, whatever you choose though try to keep it to one or two cyllables as it will be easier for the derg to comprehend and remember

Call him Dogmeat. Best name. Fallout related. Will make the dog 130% more awesome.

What about Wilson, like from Don't Starve? Seems kind of appropriate given the dog's backstory...

Or Bigby, I like that name too.

Balrog. Then if he's not allowed up stairs you can get a stair gate and when you close it you can say... well you know.

The best dog names are two-syllable names which the dog readily embraces/accepts. Bigby sounds fine if the dog likes it. )

Remember that dogs are creatures of habit. They will continue to respond to past experiences until you "train" them out of it. If the dog has any phobias or bad habits, you will have to replace them with good memories and good habits. Be patient, be caring, and be "the pack leader." If you don't already watch it, you might learn something from The Dog Whisperer. It's a show about dog rehabilitation.
