For me, I'm cheating a little because I don't exactly hate it, I just didn't enjoy it and am baffled by how many people love it.

Gravity

It just felt so weak and boring.... and Sandra Bullock screaming is annoying as hell.

I also just remembered another:

Zero Dark Thirty

I had to stop halfway through. Boring dialogue, boring everything.

Another one has been remembered. This one I did NOT hate, but find HEAVILY overrated:

The Avengers

It was very mediocre to me.

Also, this thread is for people to express their opinion on whether they like a movie or not, don't get butthurt, be civilised, and don't blacklist based on the fact that someone has a differing opinion.

Jurassic Park.

Not World. Not 2. The first one.

I literally cannot watch that movie without falling asleep halfway though. I went to it a good half dozen times while it was still in theaters, plus have tried to watch it at home several times. Every single time, I pass out halfway. Even the rifftrax version. The first half of that movie is incredibly slow and dull. The visual effects and music are fantastic, but I just cannot stay focused long enough to get to the actual action.

Any Spider-Man film with Andrew Garfield in it.
Any film since Independence Day with Will Smith in it.
Any Jurassic Park film past the first.
The Star Wars prequels (I liked them but they're overrated).
Any recent Johnny Depp film.
All of the Transformers movies.
Godzilla (the 2nd one). Ah hell, the first one too (Mathew Broderick).

Aww hell, I could be here all night writing this list out ....

Don't hype it too much.
I'll just be let down. ;_;
Unless Johnny Depp and Will Smith are in it. Then it's already too late.

I completely understand you. But honestly, I don't really see how it couldn't be at least an OK movie. It propably won't be as good as the very first Gojira, but it clearly has potential.

Well, at least this time the right country is making the film, so it has potential. XD

IMHO there are three things americans should never touch - kung fu films, godzilla, and will smith. :X

Well, it is one thing to show Godzilla rampaging through NY. It is another to portray the man, who sacrificed himself in order to kill Gojira as a bad guy...

Does anybody remember Waking Life? That movie was so pretentious it made my head spin. Hopefully not that many people were impressed by it.
Oh and Requiem for a dream was not so impressive.

As a general rule of thumb, I skip almost all comic-book-inspirated movies and softcore porn TV shows.

I hate anything done by Christopher Nolan and ANYTHING staring that crappy Chrtistian Bale.
I'd rather sit through a Uwe Boll movie marathon than one of their craptastic movies. ESPECIALLY that Batman trilogy. It sucked BALLS.

Fight Club, as I mentioned before. Boring, meaningless and that ridiculous retrospection cliche.
I don't really hate second one but while i really enjoyed its atmosphere and acting, I found plot rather unmemorable and unsurprising. Blade Runner. Even though I like Dick's novels.

Napoleon Dynamite. everyone I knew seemed to love this movie and told me it was hilarious. against my better judgement I gave it a try and wished I'd stabbed my eyes with sharpened peppers instead

Scott Pilgrim - started watching it on multiple recommendations and got bored out of my mind. usually I'll watch even a bad movie to the end but this one was just too dull and I gave up

Fast and Furious - "you don't need to love cars or racing to enjoy this" everyone tells me. maybe not, but I hated it anyway

Animated: Minions, Frozen, Brave, Tangled, The Incredibles, Big Hero 6

Avatar (2009)
Gravity (2013)
Interstellar (2014)
Maleficient (2014)
Cinderella (2015)
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Jurassic World (2015)
Fantastic Four (2015)
Star Wars
Reboot Star Trek franchise (that shit is not Star Trek and Bendybottom Cucundor is not Khan, ok?)
Indiana Jones & Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (I'm one of the people who insist there are only three Indy movies, ok)

Haven't seen the Avengers or any movies associated with it (Iron Man, Thor, etc) but from gifs and so on they all look like a bore. Also don't care for the newer X-Men movies with Michael Fassbender as Magneto in them.

Ahhhh there are so much more but those are the ones that come to me right now.

I understand why someone might dislike Avengers. Personally I'm not really into Superhero films and I only watched that (and a couple other Marvel ones) because of Loki ¯_(ツ)_/¯ They're hype films. What you see may be cool but when you start scrutinizing these films they seem kind of bare/repetitive.

On my end, I quite dislike the first 20mins of 2001: A Space Odyssey. They look awful and nonsensical. My friends love that part tho. I can't wrap my head around how a film where the main concepts (how the spaceships look and work) look so refined and fitting starts with a bunch of people in king-kong suits with really warm long fur in the middle of a desert with tapirs. Seriously wtf.

Also, X-Files. Eugh
