yep, I hate sports games and sports in tv but I love doing sports myself ;)

Me too. I love the exercise. Playing sports games or watching other people doing sports makes me feel like I'm really lazy and I should be exercising myself. I don't want to play games about things I could be doing myself (and getting healthier doing so :D)

Well, there's basketball, more basketball, even more basketball, rugby, tennis, baseball, cricket and more tennis.
No football, sadly. Then again, the only notable football games are FIFA and PES, and both suffer from consolitis. Even worse, FIFA is made by EA, a company that no one should ever give any money to, ever. And PES insults the sport by calling it soccer instead of football.
So I guess we're stuck without football games until some sensible developer realizes that there's a market for them on the PC.

Uhmm. FIFA??? The game from EA? PES is much better if you just install a community patch.
And for the manager game: the SEGA FM is blocked by EA in Germany. You can only import it and then it won't even have German language...
I'm sure, if Gabe puts PES on Steam it would be a success.
