Some Steam games don't appear to have Steam trading cards icon,So this why create this list
Since SCE can easily be used for new cards, that means the only point of this topic is as you described above ... in which case you are 4 years too late, alexfirehouse already made a topic dedicated to that here:

This list shows games that have recently added Steam trading cards. If you own any of these games, you can now collect their trading cards. After one day, newly added games will be moved from the main description to the comments for reference(if have game add cards)
