Just Cause 2 + DLCs - Worth it?

I played the game without them and had a satisfying experience, I don't think it'll help you enjoy the game more. Then again, I don't really care much for these kind of DLC

No, not really. You have to buy the weapons, and they are more expensive, and less powerful than stuff that is already in the base game. I wouldn't really bother with it. They add pretty much nothing to the game.

I have the game and all the DLCs but haven't used anything from them due to the fact to get the dlc items you call in a helicopter and spend in game money to get them and I never felt the need to do so.

I recommend getting the base game and seeing how it goes. It's a great game, I have 72 hours in and will be putting more in. It's just a silly open world where you can do crazy stunts and mess around! Can't go wrong for it's current price.

The arial pack dlc is really fun, mostly for the dual thruster parachute

quad rocket launcher in the big boom pack was fun too

The Aerial Pack and Boom Pack are worth it. The vehicle packs are ok, not really necessary or all that useful but are nice to have if you are a completist. The Assault Rifle is not really worth it and Rico's gun is absolute trash, don't get it. I'll rank them for you from best to worst:

Black Market Aerial Pack - Excellent, get this for the fighter plane which is the only jet available from the black market.

Black Market Boom Pack - Useful, get this next if you still have money left over.

Monster Truck - Excellent on land as it can drive over other vehicles. On water it floats due to the large tires but can't navigate, so you need to fire the grenade launcher to move in the opposite direction that you are firing.

Agency Hovercraft - Hard to control and slow. Not particularly great on land or water, but extremely well armed!

Chevalier Classic - Cool, quick, and capable. Get it if you want to ride around in style or if you want to do one of the many race missions, at which it excels due to it's powerful engine and superior brakes and suspension. However this vehicle is unarmed so it is not suitable for combat missions.

Bull's Eye Assault Rifle - Sounds great in principle but terrible in practice. Also uses custom ammo. Waste of money.

Rico's Signature Gun - Garbage, do not buy.
