I see no drama, but this just reinforces my opinion that plenty of SG users are elitists. Not saying you (TC) are, though.

If I remember correctly it was part of a puzzle he made at one point (a puzzle which I did not solve >.<). So if you can find the correct forum thread the answer to that may be there. Or maybe not. Forgot to check as he made the puzzle.

I think it's only a matter of time before the forums regulate themselves into less drama. Like a rollercoaster of sorts, drama in the lower part of the ride and a happy community in the top part of the ride. It's just been a bumpy couple of weeks. :)
I'd also like to point out, that we've all had those moments where we've might've said something or acted a certain way that were not so proud of only to realize later that we could've handled a particular situation in a better or more mature way. I think some of the things mentioned over the past couple weeks might fall into that category, so try not to judge too harshly. :)

I think its bound to happen with cliques existing. I've only started to realize how "closed" sg is, in the sense that many groups revolve and only share/talk with each other. (Not saying that is bad) I also think this is the main reason that many people actually don't see the drama. (I haven't except in very few threads)
Anyway, disagreement is okay, but I wish people could handle it better, and have a wider interpretation range so that there is less drama. Will each side only be satisfied if the other side leaves?

On a broader note: I think to a certain degree it is a matter of perception. The way we see the world (this forum) is the way we want to see it. If you want to see drama you'll find it. If you do not care for it, it will most likely fly under your radar. So it is a subconcious or maybe even concious choice if you want to concentrate on the positive or negative side of something. In this regard: Choose wisely.

Some users were talking shit about other users, they were found out, it escalated. Nothing particularly interesting apart from how the whole thing looked like how a really badly written American high school drama imagined a long bitchfest among a group of prissy cheerleaders.

i guess i am not active enough on the forum to know what drama you are talking about. aside from one sad thread (someone leaving SG, i guess you know what i mean) i can't remember any real drama. yes, there are some unnecessary posts from some people sometimes. but when i compare us to other forums - i think we're still quite alright here. i mean, just look what happens on the steam forums every day. users insult other users. that's basically all that's happening. SG might not be perfect, but i feel we can have a serious discussion here, while on many forums that's just not possible.

More and more people are complaining about the drama yet they add even more drama themselves. Well, that's not how do you fight with it. That's my opinion at least. And it makes me a little tired to see there are people who are ranting that there's too much ranting on SG - it makes even one more rant, where's the logic? But what do I know, I'm only one small grumpy owl.
I don't know what drama are you referring to but have you just removed people from your whitelist for their opinions? Or was it something more like lack of common sense, spreading hate etc?

There's no convenient way to send out messages to people on your WL, so that's why I've opted to do a forum thread.
There's been a lot of drama on SG recently, and some people have been really bad at containing it to private venues, and instead it's been taking place on the forum, and in some cases in other people's threads & giveaways. I don't want to have to deal with any of the drama, so until people learn to play nice, I'll remove people I've seen take part in the recent drama from my WL. This is not a blacklisting but if anyone feels the need to tell on someone else or try to justify their part of the drama, it will be.
