There are still players on that awful TF2 port for xbox360.

why?

Just put in the disc for laughs right? Wrong. Although I was a kick ass spy, which leads me to question everything in life. Half of the players are from Japan, then again this is 5:00 am to till now. So I might be pushing it a bit.
It just looks weird. But yeah, oh god..

Doesn't the demoman still have 6 grenades in his default launcher in that version? That alone is enough reason to never play it XD

Maybe they don't realize PC is a far superior device for gaming than any console??

Back in 2009 Valve promised us a big update for Xbox 360 users that after all it ended up being one of the promises they couldn't keep.

What timeframe did Valve give ?

What does that work out to when you account for Valve time ?

Isn't there a rule from MS that only patches can be free and content must be paid DLCs?

Naw, Consoles are made for games. PC are made for computing.

There are always going to be genres which are more suited to the mouse/keyboard controls of a PC than a console (and vice versa).

Even on genres which seem unsuitable for one method, the right developer can make it work. I've come across some good RTS games on consoles.

Admittedly, that isn't common.

On PC it doesn't really matter what controls the game is for, you can use a gamepad (they don't cost much) on PC and there is no difference in controlling.

Hear what you're saying, but sometimes it's as much the location as much as the standard peripherals that makes some games more suited to consoles than PC.

While a few people have a PC under their TV set (I do), most don't, and playing FIFA on a console with a few mates, and a few beers in the lounge really is, for most people, something that works much better on a console.

Yeah, that's the other problem. Consoles are made for gaming and even when you have the PC connected to the TV (I also have this) it's not the same, you can't simply control the PC with a gamepad or just put a CD into the PC and start playing. I only meant that the controls are the same but the feeling is something other.

Well, Portal 2 has exclusive dlc for PS3. And PS3 version comes with a free pc version.

No exclusive DLC on it actually. It's on PC as well.

I bought the PS3 copy(For 40$ a week after it came out, came with PC code too)

A shame they never made any use of the steam on PS3...

Yeah. It requires that weird Razer controller thing. It's the exact same DLC though.

Came out first on PC, called the Sixsense Motion Control DLC.

I like playing FPS and even third-person games on the 360 more. The controller feels more natural in my hands than mouse and keyboard.
