Ok so i have installed speedfan for better temp readings and cpu comes up at 128C then AUXTIN1 &2 at 112 119 respectively
i think i have found my problem but how do i solve this?
EDIT: After more googling seems i may need to re apply thermal paste/clean heatsink
opening her up see you on the other side
More comments helpful in this tragic time =(

Check CPU fan and heatsink. If needed, replace cooling paste (if it's dry and crumbles, it was cheap stuff that has dried out over time). Same for other heat sinks on the mobo

Most vid cards can go up to 80-90, but you will start to see artifacting and glitches.
Does this happen only after you have been running a game for a while, or does it do it from a cold boot and right into a game?
IF, under monitoring your vid card stays under 70C, it may just be that your vid card is shot... not necessarily overheating. Maybe try to arrange your cabling better to give better airflow over your GPU. Could also try running your PC with the side panel off and a fan blowing on the Vid card to determine if its really a heat issue.
Other thoughts:
Do you have another Vid card to test with to ensure its nothing else in your system? Bad RAM / Motherboard can manifest similar symptoms in some circumstances... It could also be underpowered. Maybe try using another plug off your PSU to power the card. Also, if you have spare slots, maybe move it to another PCIE slot on the MB.

Hi all its been a while since last post but wanted to update so if others come across this thread it will help them.
I basically replaced with a new motherboard and case for more fan mounts and better airflow in and out of the machine and now my temps are amazing it hasn't gone past 35C when running games like advanced warfare or far cry 3

Hi all,
Im having some crashes with my pc right now im assuming its my graphics card but would like some input.
Basically this only happens when i play games and the symptoms would be completely lose video signal and everyhting else continues to work or I i see a streaky grey screen after crash and in fewer instances the whole computer just turns itself off.
My initial thoughts were
2.gfx defect- but doesn't really explain the powering down
anyone have any ideas? better yet is there a way to paste a crash log? might shed some more light?
thanks for your help!
