You can get a PUBG dwight cosmetic in DBD by playing one round as killer or survivor in PUBG (you have to enter from the main menu i've heard, only work with the dbd event and not in a normal pubg match)

If you've never played PUBG before it'll make you play the tutorial and at least 1 AI match (or 10 AI matches if you don't complete all of the objectives). It's really easy to finish an AI match with all objectives done, but this still might be a deterrent for some people.
They really shouldn't force people to do all of that, especially when the controls are completely different in the DBD mode. I think the Dwight outfit is decent though and not many people are giving it away so it's not easy to find code drops

yes, i got my outfit yesterday, like you said the tutorial was clearly not needed for the dbd event.
Since you have to do a training match with the AI it can take 20 min to more than an hour to complete all objectives, so just for an outfit, one should consider carefully if it is worth his time.
Even more so when like me it takes several hours to dowload the game

Yeah it took at least 40-45 mins to download for me (which I did overnight), and then the game kept crashing and stuttering when I first tried it.. until I restarted my PC which fixed it. Overall I probably spent a couple of hours on it. I had fun and it was worth it, but the implementation was a bit halfassed to get the outfit.
I guess it also gave me the opportunity to redeem the Intel jacket in PUBG which looks kinda cool, and getting the legacy gear for owning the game before it went f2p. The stupid thing is I did play the game a bit before it went f2p, but I don't think a tutorial existed when I played it so it made me do it anyway
