One of the best games I've played recently was This War of Mine. It was also bundled a while ago too, so you could probably find it fairly cheap. As far as gameplay goes, it was one of the most emotional and tense games I've played in a while. Would heartily recommend! :)

I actually played that game on xbox 360 and it was pretty good. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Have you looked at this weeks Humble Bundle?
They have some pretty good games for just 15$ .. unless u got most of those already ofc..

I have most of these except The darkness 2 and Spec ops: The line. Do you know if these are any good?

The darkness 2 is absolutely awesome in my opinion you should try this out.
Spec ops is more like a war based fps game (not really my kind of style but if you are into this then ... by all means this is what you're going to want)

Glad you did, since it's a really great deal and Darkness 2 really is great!

I already have all of the borderlands, By far one of my most favorite game series. Although I was a bit disappointed in the pre sequel.

I actually forgot about those games, I really enjoyed blackflag but I know a lot of people didn't like that one.

Nah Black Flag is a lot of people's favorite AC game. If you're really interested in the series start with the first game, but if you just want some fun I'd suggest AC2, AC Brotherhood, or AC3. AC Rogue is also similar to Black Flag but you probably can't get it for $20

ill check them out, if I cant get them now they will definitely go on the list ;)

...just none of that anime games please...
I know you said it but, today The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is 50% off, just saying. I played it in my PSP pirated and it is a great game. Maybe it is time to try something new!

Believe me I tried, I'm not saying they are bad games but I just cant get into them. Thanks for the suggestion though :0)

Bad Company 2 is still a great game despite being 6 years old. The visual is eye-catching, the characters in the single player campaign are funny and make a few teases at Modern Warfare 2, and the multiplayer still have players - over 1000 players during peak times.

Some good clean fun ; ) And you'd still have plenty left over to buy the Surgeon Simulator & I Am Bread bundle!

My new obsession is Crypt of the Necrodancer. Fun and addictive as hell.
Ziggurat is a really fun FPS-Fantasy themed rogue lite. Also recommend this

Farcry 3
Disregard the reviews that whine about the Uplay DRM. It can be easily bypassed. Very fun game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
The whole series is great. Clear Sky is only $10. The other two are $20.
All four of these games have huge, open worlds and solid FPS fighting mechanics, as well as very positive ratings based on years of reviews. I've played them all, and from the looks of the games you own that you've played a lot, I think you couldn't go wrong with anyone of them. They're all under $20.

iv actually really been looking at the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games for a while know. If you had to pick one which would you prefer? because they all look pretty good.

My preference is to play games in order, whenever possible. A game's age is not a factor for me in the fun equation. I don't know your opinion on that issue. Considering that you've only got $20 to spend, you may want to get Call of Pripyat, since it has even higher reviews than the first two, and has the most modern graphics. It's still six years old, though.
The second game, Clear Sky, is actually the first in the series, timeline-wise, being a prequel that is set before the events in the first game, S.O.C. Since it's only $10 and the others are $20, you could start with it, and have $10 left with which to buy F.E.A.R.—the original one—which, although it is not open world, is, IMO, one of the best FPS shooters ever made, even compared to today's games.

If you don't mind fantasy settings, consider Shadows of Mordor and Dragon's Dogma.

From the Depths is one of the best building games I've ever played. Look into it. It will be the best $20 you've ever spent.

FPS:
Outcast 1.1 (classic)
Betrayer (full of style; primitive weapons)
Zeno Clash 2 (absolute trip; first-person fist-fighter)
Transmissions: Element 120 (free)
Project Green Beat (on-rails shooter)
Vermintide (multiplayer; I played one match when it was free then decided to buy a copy; played another match and bought another that I gave away here - I never play or really can recommend multiplayer games; Vermintide is a yes)
Open World:
Mafia II (I find it a bit clunky but no arguing that atmosphere)
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (I have to second SexyBudgie; one of my favorite games of all time, got the Platinum Trophy on PS3, will get 100% on Steam as well)
Kingdoms of Amalur (another fantasy RPG but with much faster combat; too bad EA ruined the franchise before it became one (in being so eager to exploit it, not to suggest the game is bad because it was my favorite such RPG before DD:DA was released xD))
Planetship (because)
