Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel + Season Pass - I have the base game, but there is no any discount

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel + Season Pass is on sale now, I already have the base game in my library, but there is no any discount for this bundle on Steam for me.
Before it i've bought Borderlands Triple Pack with huge discount, because there was only one new game in this bundle for me - Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
So, why discount system doesn't works with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel + Season Pass bundle ?

i cant purchase the triple pack it glitches out and says my cart is empty... im only missing pre sequal as well.

That's because TPS + Season Pass is a traditional package (sub) versus the Triple Pack being a "complete your collection" pack (bundle). Notice the difference in the urls:

TPS + Season Pass: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/63481/
Triple Pack: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/257/

"Subs" can be bought and added to your own library, stored in inventory, or gifted to others while "bundles" are only meant as a way to complete your own collection (i.e. can't be gifted/stored; can only be added to your own library).

Yeah, the price of "bundles" gets further reduced based on the number of games you already own (i.e. games you own are not counted). In this case, if you owned all but TPS, then the "bundle" discount of 70% only gets applied to TPS which is already on sale for 60% off (i.e. net discount of 88%).

Thanks for answers. Looks like it would be better to wait other sale, or buy only Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 (as i know this is the only one good DLC for this price).

Yes, you are right. That's the only one dlc you need. The others are way too bad. That's why there isn't any more dlc
