I am currently reading a book from a recent Humble Bundle.
"Screenwriting Fundamentals -The Art and Craft of Visual Writing by Irv Bauer"
I am a film-enthusiast and I was always interested in how they are made. Now I want to make my own, with the help of my closest friends. As you may guess, its nothing serious, just a little tribute film, that pays homage to the Bud Spencer & Terence Hill films.
As a buddy-project with friends, i dont aim for absolute professionalism, but i want to work with some competency at the very least. Thats why i got the bundle and now research it. :)

I've got a lot of free time these weeks so nowadays I'm reading 3 books at the same time - paradise lost by john milton (I'm at the 4th book and I'm literally loving it, especially thanks to an awesome Italian translation with the English text on the left pages and lots of footnotes and such - we have dozens of Italian translations but the oldest ones, like the XVII century one made by P. Rolli, are written in an uncomprehensible Italian to us =P), a book about sex toys (yeah it's awesome, it has hundreds of pages dedicated to the history of sex toys, bibliographies, recommendations, buy guides, lots of informative sheets all colored with lots of photos and such, it's written by two Italian authors and not available in other languages, even because it came out some weeks ago) =P and Serotonin by michel houellebecq - i'm always amazed at how ironic and brilliant is this author! French literature has always been the best to me.. along with the Italian one in Europe =P

Sorry for the necro.
But I HAD to mention that I JUST finished Novice Dragoneer by E.E. Knight. DAMN that was an amazing story. I'm about to start book 2, Daughter of the Serpentine.
Set on the same world as his other fantastic series, The Age of Fire.
He also has a series called Vampire Earth but I'm not too big on vampires. Still, the author is one that should be read.

Malcolm Gladwell's "Talking to Strangers ". It's interesting, but in a superficial/shallow way.

I'm stuck on Kings Salems Lot . I love Kings books but I didn't get drawn in this one as much as I expected to be. It's not boring or anything, but somehow feels a bit bland. Been reading it for a month now or even more, somehow not getting to the end.

I see it's been a while since the last topic on this came up, but I thought I'd ask since I just started a new book myself.
Just started reading The Histories by Herododus. I was interested in this since I love most things about ancient Greece. Probably why I'm still loving Assassins Creed Odyssey. :P But these things are unrelated to why I chose that book.
So, what is SG reading now? Manga does count in this.
