Aerofly FS, but that's more simulator, I guess.

I found Air Conflicts: Secret Wars alright. Not at all hardcore, arcadey. It was in IG6 and Bundle Stars #3 so you should be able to get it for a lot cheaper through trading.

If you have a PS2 (or PS2 emulator) play Sky Odyssey.

I had a copy of Duck Tales on NES that sprouted wings and flew south once, but you'll never catch it - believe me, I've tried.

And in all seriousness, I quite enjoyed the Il-2 Sturmovik game when I played it on PS3.

Not sure. Space flight games are nice though!

World of Warplanes?

As far as WWII flight games, I've quite enjoyed Birds of Steel and Birds of Prey. Just on 360 and PS3, but they're a lot of fun and you can adjust how hardcore you want it to be.
