@rachellove: can you please add a note that german buyers will get the japanese version of DMC Devil May Cry? It's a low violence version and is only playable in japanese LOL. Humble Bundle really fucked this up big time.

Now I don't need german language but I refuse to take any censored blowcrap into my library. Always have and always will. Idiotic country we live in. Nothing against youth protection but censoring games for responsible adults? I'm 29 years old and can't be allowed to view some video game violence or, god forbid, swastikas?! Thanks for patronizing me, stupid officials!
Edit: Thanks for the heads up! I also sent a support ticket. Apparently in the Japanese version some erotic scene has been cut while the German version is actually completely uncut. This can only be a mistake, which I hope Humble Bundle can fix. It would suck if it was actually Capcom's fault, giving them the wrong keys or whatever.

If this comes up in the future, try using a different payment method and/or checkout as a guest without logging in. If you used Paypal the first time, use a credit card next time. If you already purchased a copy for yourself, purchase as a gift the second time.

Well, I witnessed the following story: there was this guy, a German, who wanted to trade his Steamgift for Sleeping Dogs: Definitve Edition for a key for the Sleeping Dogs version Humble had in a bundle a few months back (because Def.Edition is neither activate- nor playable in Germany). He found a trader willing to do the trade who was an American. He had already created the key himself and the German was not able to activate the key. I was sceptical about this so the American trader also sent me the key and indeed, no way to activate it.
In the meanwhile the German guy had found another trader who traded him the gift link for his Steamgift and the German guy was able to create a region locked German version for Sleeping Dogs with this gift link (bought somewhere else than Germany), which is the only version that runs for us ;__;
So yeah, not 100% sure, but 90% sure it works this way.

You can buy any tier of the bundle at any point and you'll end up with the same number of games (for that tier). The only advantage to BTA early is that the Average is usually lower. So, if a person can't get it early when the Average is low, its often better to just wait and see what the bonus games are.

Yes, but if it goes down enough, I can just buy a whole new bundle rather than upgrading my $1 bundle. Like I said, unless you buy the bundle early, there's really no advantage to buying it before the bonus games get added.
It used to be that buying the $1 tier before the Bonus game were added would net you the bonus games at the $1 tier, but that stopped being the case a long while back.

Got the second tier. A lot of these games were on my playlist so tier 2 was insta-buy. Though, I wish they hadn't put the RE 5 DLC in the 15$ tier because isn't that just full price? I wonder what the other games in the 2nd tier will be.

A bit late to the party but it's got to be tier 1 for me at this point.
Only missing RE 5 from tier 2, and I was going to get it still to support the bundle as I think it's a nice one and there was always the hope that the added games would be good. Had the store page loaded in a tab when the bta was $6.55 and was waiting on some money to transfer from one bank account to another so I could pay. When it did and I went to pay I didn't fill in the captcha by mistake and it reset the whole buying process back to the bta at the time which was upwards of $7.50. Now it's over $8 and I don't think I'll be paying that just for RE 5. Sure I can pick that up on it's own for considerably less.
$1 for Strider though, yes please!

I bought Humble Capcom Bundle for 1$ and I probably (maybe) had smaller BTA (probably, maybe $6.56) in my tab with humblebundle.com in my web browser than I have now in my Humble Bundle account to increase my order amount for this bundle. Now I can see in my account that I have to pay $6.25 (so new total is $1.00 + $6.25 = $7.25) while it maybe should be $5.56+$0.01¹=5.57$ (so new total should be -> $1.00 + 5.57$ = $6.57) to boost the amount recorded on my order for BTA.
(¹It is +$0.01 because it is BEAT the average not PAY the average.)
I wrote inter alia about this problem to Humble Bundle Support and after exchange of emails etc. (I also added screenshots with my explanations etc. but I don't have screenshot from moment of my purchase of course) I got an answer:

Thank you very much for the screenshots! That is strange indeed, as our records for the Capcom Bundle bought on your email address show an average price of $6.56 at the time of purchase. So you're correct, you should only have to pay $5.57 to beat the average now.
Did you only buy one copy of this bundle, and was it associated with this email address?
If so, go ahead and add the correct amount ($5.57 or maybe $5.58 just to be safe) to your order using the order adder feature, and if the content doesn't unlock automatically, let me know and I'll go ahead and manually unlock it for you.

BTW - Choose-Your-Own-Charity isn't available on order adder option at the moment (in the Humble Bundle account) - you can't pay for charity of your choose when you increasing your order amount in the Humble Bundle account (at least for now and HumbleBundle.com probably won't have the Choose-Your-Own-Charity option in their order adder option enabled within the next 30 days since Oct 14 and maybe more time).

oh! well, thanks for giving me a heads up. I think that when you initially bought the bundle, if you cared which charity your money was going to, you would have changed it then. But it would be nice to have that option to change your charity when increasing your order.

You misunderstood me [probably because my English etc. :)]. I have bought this bundle for 1$ [and I paid Capcom, Humble Tip, two defualt (without option to change) charities (Direct Relief, GamesAid AND third charity of my choice] and when I want increase my order amount (to for example 'BTA' - beat the average price) I can see only 2 charities WITHOUT third charity of my choice.
When I will probably increase my order amount I will only pay $5.58 for Capcom, Humble Tip and only two defualt (without option to change) charities (Direct Relief, GamesAid) and I can NOT pay for third charity of my choice now.
Paying also for extra charity of your choice is possible only when you buying new bundle. You can't do this in increase your order amount option (at least for now).

I got a reply from Humble Bundle to my request about fixing the Devil May Cry German<->Japanese version mistake. They replied:
"The issue has been sorted out and should now be the correct content."
I tested it and the version is properly named "Devil May Cry Retail" (no LV). So yes, it's been fixed!

Yes, I can confirm that, got the same reply and the key activated as the correct version. Great that that's sorted out!
People who already activated the LV version, need to contact Steam support to remove the game from their library. Then they can activate the new key. There is a tutorial in the "For Uncut" Steam group, which explains how to to do that: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/foruncut/discussions/0/864973577847995286/
