I've been trying to see which game to give out to the community, but it's always the same on top.

Is it because people only use that feature for summer/winter achievements?

I mostly use wishlist to remember what games I should buy later (when I'll get money, or when the next big sale comes).

I only put the games I really want in my top 10-15 and the others just that I want it. (not as much as the top 10)

Same here. It's also useful to find out what one should gift on friends' birthdays or Christmas or even who to share a 4-pack with.

Same here, along with the "dream" of winning the 5 / 10 first games during events.

Honestly, i dont use it very often, since i dont bother to say which game i really want, i dont need to write a list about it :)

I really don't use it much at all either....I generally don't have trouble remembering games that I would want in the near/distant future.

I use the Steam wishlist to make a list of games I want for the sake of letting other people know what games I want, in case they ever want to gift me something, as well as to be able to glance over their prices very quickly anytime.

My wishlist is used to put there what games I'm waiting for when I get some money.

Everyone on my friendlist and everyone I ever traded with (or seen trading) and mostly everyone else uses wishlist.

I like it a lot myself so I can keep track of what games I know I would love to play. I also know what games the person I can trade a game with is interested mostly in

I use the wishlist.

My wishlist doesn't change much unless I buy games, and that only really happens at the summer and winter sales for the most part.

I use the wishlist feature. However I don't change the order of the games that often. My list is primarily composed of games I want but have not seen on sale (read: cheap) yet. Thanks for all the great giveaways Mike ;)

Imagine if the SteamGifts wishlist page could cross-reference with SteamGameSales price information.
See the top five wanted games that are also at least 50% off. :D Or something.

You just have to accept that most of the people want Skyrim... for whatever reason it is. In my opinion it's world is so huge as it's boring to explore it but well, it's me.

I check my wishlist every day to know if there's any interesting discount. I bought few games this way already since nobody else would do it for me, hehe.

i use the wishlist to make a list of games that i want for letting other people know what games i want, and for remember what games i want more.

i never use for summer/winter achievements because i have steam since a long time ago but i didn´t use it. i have just started to use, buy and play games since 3 months more or less.

Yes, I use wishlist, but don't make changes very often, at least I buy a game or a new game is on sale.

i use it to keep track of games i want. it's easy to check my wishlist every couple days for green sale indicators, and helps me decide whether i really want a game by putting on my wishlist first and only buying things that are on the list (and of course, removing some as i change my mind). i also keep it ordered pretty well but sorted dlc to the bottom and then by game.

when the achievement hunts come around i usually have way more than 10 things on it anyway so i don't do anything different there.

I use it regularly. The first 25 items are (almost) sorted - the later ones aren't

But to tell you the truth: I started using the list to get these achievements

I use it all the time. I don't always WANT what I put on it. I kind of use it as a 'just in case it goes on sale' and 'read about this later' list.
