Serj Tankian from System of A Down.. Taken more recently during solo recordings. System and Serj's solo projects are amongst some of my favorite albums. There has not been a new album and sometime, and only a suggestion that they may begin recording after to conclusion of their Wake Up The Souls Tour that wrapped up earlier this week The tour is an effort to raise awareness of the Ottoman Empire's genocide committed upon the Armenian people near the beginning of the 20th century. 1.5 million people were reported to have been massacred. They wrote a song called Holy Mountain that was included on their (as of now) final album Hypnotize about ten years ago. It shocks me that I have listened to these guys for nearly twenty years, but that's just because it doesn't seem that long. Funny though, I've been listening to SOAD nearly as long as many of you have been alive!
