At one point one-click entry was indicated to be against the new guidelines [which, of course, are still actively being changed day-to-day], and ESGST does include that function. I don't see that in the guidelines now, however, and it's dubious whether cg could have the site detect such to begin with. Nothing else in ESGST should be problematic.

So, mild risk, depending on whether the guidelines change again, but no immediate risk.

cg said a while ago that ESGST was fine: https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/XZ9NbOP Well, a year ago, but I haven't seen any indication of that changing. As long as the process is manual and individual, one-click entries shouldn't be a problem.

Does ESGST have full autojoin scripts, though?
I thought it only had one-click entry, which has always been a grey area that the site guidelines have simply passively let by.

Technically, even if it does have an autojoin element, you shouldn't be in trouble if you're not actively using it. Aside from the logical consideration there, the only real way the site would presumably be able to detect such things would be through your entry activity, which obviously wouldn't be affected if you weren't using the script.

Rafael does not include auto-joining functionality in their code, and even went so far as to remove the ability to skip reading descriptions with the 'one-click enter giveaway' button.

Thanks for the info! That's rather the respectable decision on their part, kudos to them.

Simple answer: no it does not, it's used by thousands here without any problems so no reason to start speculating.
