So, I bought a game key from a site* nearly 24 hours ago and then went through their verification process, but I have yet to receive my game. How long should I give them until I open a dispute within Paypal? Paypal recommends I try to communicate with the seller first, but I've already sent them an email, because their live chat is down (even though it is well into their listed operating hours) and they have yet to reply. I tried their US Twitter, but it is fairly inactive.
I was thinking of giving them another 24 hours while trying to call them during their "business hours". This pretty much means I'm going to try calling them every 2-3 hours because apparently their listed hours are incorrect. By the way, I had to go to my Paypal transaction to find their phone number. I don't think it is listed anywhere on the site.

*I am not mentioning the site as I feel like it would be free advertising and they treat their customers poorly. If people want the name/I am allowed to post it I will.
EDIT: As a precaution the site is gk4.me. There were several people warning about its wonky delivery, but there were also people saying it worked fine. There were more negative reviews by people with poor grammar, so I took their opinion with less weight. Since I'm in this deep I'll update with news on whether or not I get my game.
UPDATE: I got the game. through a very complicated process I still don't understand (apparently you can create gift links for steam games so anyone with the link can just grab the game?), but it's done.

If it's an intangible good, you're pretty much out of luck with Paypal.

I disputed Gamersgate before, and won.

It was for digital Steam keys of course.

At least for Ebay, paypal is almost always on the side of the buyer. I'm not sure about other entities.

give them till monday before disputing
.. its a holiday weekend, they may not be available

I did a dispute with paypal before.. but it was for a purchase I did not do(somehow a site I had used 3 years before kept enough info to do a $250 paypal purchase.. my last purchase with the site was a dollar and something).. paypal had it reversed in under 24 hours

.. needless to say thats site support was slow.. and terrible.. took them 5x longer to send me automated crap

Yeah, I guess so, but I don't think anyone in the US works for the site. Most purchases are coming from Germany. If they are on holiday, you'd think there would be a message stating as much. Also, their operating time is betweem 4am and 5pm in time zone.

Okay. I'm willing to believe they are closed on weekends. I can't find it any more, but I could swear it said somewhere on their website they were open everyday of the week.

Okay. Just trying to be cautious. I was more worried that I'd get banned for mentioning the site. I'll add it to OP.

Yes. Paypal tends to favor the buyer, and honest sellers tend to respond quickly to a case being opened. Calling for live Paypal customer support can expedite the dispute process.
