Personally I'd get one you can't play any decent games on. Your marks and social life will be infinitely better :)

That thing had some killer games for the time. I personally miss luggables. I'd love to see desktop cases with a quick disconnect bar for all the ports and a carrying handle.

The first one because it has a 7.5 hour battery life and also seems to look very sleek, also the solid state drive allows it to boot up in a matter of seconds (it can run up programs in a flash)! The second Lenovo is just a waste of time (in my opinion), it has many features but they have not thought about the notebook's battery life, i presume it could only last for about 4 hours. So if you want a reliable notebook that will last you many sessions pick the first one :)

Also search on Google what they say about those two models. Some of models affected by defective manufacturing (like my old Lenovo G550), make you regret to buy that model.

I did, both had the same bug about the yellow, but's fixed for both (both use the same screen ;-)

I'd go with Samsung because it's a well known brand for good electronics. The other one I've never heard of.

The other one bought IBM's desktop computer business. So it's a respectable name. You need to look and compare particular models, like with any other OEM. (generally, business-class laptops cost more, but are built sturdier, and in that price range often have 3yr warranty vs just 1)

If you are getting them for the same price OP, go with the Samsung.
It had double the RAM, whilst otherwise being the exact same thing spec for spec.
It also has much better battery life, which you'll find useful for Uni.
Plus it's only 13.3" instead of 15.6", so carrying it around, and more importantly using it on cramped Uni desks will be more convenient.
To me, the Samsung seems like an obviously better option overall.

Hi,
Question is in the Title:
The two are:
First, Samsung 13.3 gb 8gb ram and 256 gb ssd
or
Second, Lenovo <--- It's not exactly this one, It's also the 13.3" one with 8 gb ram and 512 gb ssd
Please post here witch of them you would buy and why, thanks!
Don't look at the Price, they cost nearly the same where I live ( few dollars).
EDIT: it seems that the lenovo here wasn't the right one, the one I can get is also 13.3" with 8 gb ram but 512 gb ssd wrote it too the link
